  • Publication number: 20210232669
Abstract: A device control system includes: a device to be controlled; a wearable device that acquires biometric information on a user; a management server that determines personal data associated with the user of the wearable device when receiving the biometric information, and generates an operating condition of the device to be controlled, based on the received biometric information and the determined personal data, the personal data being one of a plurality of pieces of personal data indicating a preference of each user regarding the operating condition of the device to be controlled; and a controller that generates a control signal for controlling the device to be controlled, based on the operating condition generated by the management server, and transmits the generated control signal to the device to be controlled.

  • Publication number: 20210033297
Abstract: An air-conditioner controller that controls an operation of an air conditioner includes: a storage unit that stores, for each user, voiceprint data that is data indicating a voiceprint of a user and personal data that is data indicating a feature of the user; and a control unit that compares voice data that is data of a user's voice detected in an air-conditioning area that is an area subject to air-conditioning control of the air conditioner with the voiceprint data, and, when there is voiceprint data similar to the voice data, presents a question based on the personal data to identify a user in the air-conditioning area on the basis of an answer acquired from the user in the air-conditioning area.

  • Patent number: 6777954
Abstract: An air conditioner includes an air conditioning unit, and three wiring lines for supplying power to the air conditioning unit. The three wiring lines are a pair of single phase AC power lines and an earth line which are to be connected to three source lines. The three source lines are a pair of single phase AC source lines and a ground line. The air conditioner also includes a detection unit including a detecting device that detects voltages between each of the AC power lines and the earth line, a conversion device that converts the voltages detected by the detecting device into logic level signals, a comparator that determines presence or absence of faulty connection between the three wiring lines and the three source lines by comparing the logic level signals obtained by the conversion device with reference logic level signals, and an output device that shows a result of determination made by the comparator.

  • Patent number: 4995368
Abstract: A fuel injection timing apparatus comprises a pair of weights which rotate synchronously with an engine, so that adjustment of the injection timing of a fuel injection pump is carried out by means of the movement of these weights against the biasing forces of springs. This apparatus further comprises stopper members disposed at positions corresponding to both opposed ends of the weights to be movable in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the movement of the weights, and temperature-sensitive driving devices for moving the stopper members in accordance with ambient temperatures, which are arranged to operate such that, when the engine is started, the stopper members are made to project between the pair of weights in accordance with the ambient temperatures to restrain the weights which tend to return to their initial positions by the biasing forces of the springs.
