  • Publication number: 20070283376
Abstract: There is provided an optical disk apparatus that can inhibit, during recording or reproduction of data on or from an optical disk, a side runout that may occur in the optical disk in its circumferential direction as a result of Coriolis force when a disk rotating shift is subjected to procession movement, thereby allowing recording and reproducing quality to be stabilized and a reduced size of the apparatus. The disk apparatus provided has pressure pawls arranged at intervals smaller than those in the prior art, each of which is provided with a plurality of pressing points arranged at intervals larger than those in the prior art. Particularly, an interval between the pressure pawls is an acute angle in terms of the center angle of the disk. An interval between the pressing points is an angle of 35° or larger.

  • Publication number: 20030184670
Abstract: In a disc apparatus, such as an optical disc video camera, etc., for recording or reproducing information onto/from a disc medium received in a cartridge, for obtaining reduction in a number of parts building up a mechanism for holding a clamper, thereby achieving a cartridge holder mechanism of a thinner type, wherein a clamper for holding the disc medium while pressing thereon is engaged with a clamp holder (a reinforcing plate) which opens/closes with a disc cover (an outer cover) of an exterior of the apparatus in the structure thereof. With this, With this, the disc slider becomes unnecessary, which was disposed for moving the clamper being held therewith.

  • Patent number: 5522041
Abstract: A data processor and a data transfer method for efficiently transferring data between a plurality of information processing devices as in a client server system. In case non-coded data such as image data are transmitted, it is necessary to make the transmission management requirements such as protocol, data structure, coding scheme, and coding default condition coincide between the transmitting side and the receiving side. In order to satisfy this requirement, a data processor lying between a plurality of information processing devices and having a data transfer intermediary function records beforehand transmission management information including identification information concerning a plurality of clients, discriminates a client by using the identification information, and recognizes transmission management information concerning the discriminated client.

  • Patent number: 5390034
Abstract: Color image processing method and apparatus for suppressing side effects of a chrominance emphasizing process are provided. A chrominance C of an original color image is detected by a chrominance detector. A luminousness V of the original color image is detected by a luminousness detector. A parameter selector selects chrominance conversion parameters on the basis of the chrominance C and luminousness V to generate a selected parameter. A chrominance converter executes the chrominance conversion by chrominance conversion parameters a to i. It is possible to suppress a side effect such that the color deviation becomes conspicuous in a portion of small chrominance and luminousness due to the execution of the chrominance emphasizing process. Thus, image data of a high quality can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4497035
Abstract: In order to deliver an input signal of each operation cycle after a desired time delay, there are disposed data memory means for storing the input signal, counter means for appointing write addresses of the data memory means, and address memory means for appointing read addresses of the data memory means. The address memory means is divided into partial memory areas equal in number to time delay elements, whereupon while sampling the input signal at a predetermined sampling period and changing the count value of the counter means one by one for each of the desired time delay elements at each sampling point, the variations of the input signal in a sampling interval between the particular sampling point and the adjacent sampling point are successively written into the memory means.

  • Patent number: 4360884
Abstract: A figure displaying device operates to display a plurality of fundamental figures each defined by a preset number of vectors on a display device of the raster scanning type. The figure displaying device stores the start and end point coordinates of the respective vectors of the respective fundamental figures and the gradient data of the respective vectors of the fundamental figures, and determines whether the respective vectors are located on a horizontal scanning line or not for each fundamental figure prior to the scanning operation of the horizontal scanning line. If the vectors are located on the horizontal scanning line the gradient data corresponding to the vectors on the aforementioned horizontal scanning line is read out and added to the start point coordinates thereby to renew the start point coordinates.

  • Patent number: 4297691
Abstract: A figure displaying device for generating a brightness signal which corresponds to a figure information to be displayed as well as for generating a brightness modulation signal which varies within a predetermined first region on a display screen. The device also generates a frequency characteristic control signal which varies within a predetermined second region on the display screen. Furthermore, the display is able to subject the brightness signal to a brightness modulation in accordance with the signal from the modulator generator with the brightness signal being controlled by the frequency characteristics control signal. The resultant figure displayed on a monitor is based on a modulation signal obtained through the modulation generator and the frequency characteristics control generator.
