  • Patent number: 8082011
Abstract: An information processing apparatus or a mobile communication apparatus are connectable to an external device via a short-range wireless communication link. When there is an incoming call, it is determined whether a ringing sound is sounded on both the apparatus and the external device, or whether the ringing is on one of the apparatus and the external device, based on a selected mode. Subsequently, appropriate sound is played based on the selected mode.

  • Patent number: 7904274
Abstract: According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a mobile apparatus including: a vibration sensor; an acquisition module configured to periodically acquire the number of vibration in a time period as a detected step count value; a first determination module configured to determine whether there is a possibility that the detected step count value is due to walking or running based on the detected step count value; and a calculation module configured to count the detected step count value as an interim step count. The first determination module determines the detected step count value is due to continuous walking or running of a user when the detected step count value satisfies a certain condition. The calculation module calculates total of the interim step count when the first determination module determines the detected step count value is due to the continuous walking or running.

  • Publication number: 20080090480
Abstract: [Object] To provide a biodegradable polyester resin composition that can achieve excellent antistatic properties and surface lubricity while maintaining the molecular weight without deteriorating the appearance of the resin, even if a kneading method is employed. [Solving Means] A biodegradable polyester resin composition containing 0.05 to 10.0% by weight of a borate ester surfactant (a reactant of boric acid and a compound given by esterifying a polyol with a higher fatty acid, a salt of the reactant, a reactant obtained by reacting a higher fatty acid to a compound given by esterifying a polyol with boric acid, or the like) having one or more hydrophobic groups having 8 to 24 carbon atoms.

  • Publication number: 20050071771
Abstract: A communication apparatus, for instance a cellular phone, has menu, a memory for storing a picture and a display for displaying alphanumeric and a picture. If a user selects the picture stored in the memory, the selected picture is displayed on the display as wallpaper. When the picture is set as wallpaper and menu comprised of icons is displayed by operation, the icons are displayed in the form of a function name and outline.
