  • Publication number: 20070066707
Abstract: The present inventions provide a method for forming molds and a core which generates no gases with bad effects on the human bodies while the binders are heated. In particular, the present inventions provide a method for forming molds and a core comprising an aggregate material mixture consisting of granular aggregate materials, wherein the aqueous binders and water are foamed with stirring, filled into a space for forming molds, and caked with an evaporating water component. In an embodiment, molds can be further cured by adding cross linking agents before and after they are taken out from the space for forming. Further, an aggregate material mixture for forming molds used for the method for forming molds of the present inventions is provided.

  • Publication number: 20060071364
Abstract: There are provided a dry aggregate mixture wherein the binder, even when heated, does not evolve unpleasant odor or gas hazardous to human health; a method of foundry molding wherein a space for foundry molding, up to minute portion thereof, can satisfactorily be filled with an aggregate mixture composed of a binder and granular aggregate; and a method of foundry molding wherein the mold used in molding of an aggregate mixture composed of a binder and granular aggregate can retain satisfactory properties even in high humidity. In the method of foundry molding, a mold is formed by the use of a dry mixture obtained by providing an aggregate mixture composed of granular aggregate, a water soluble binder and water and evaporating the water contained in the aggregate mixture through heating, pressure reduction or aeration while mixing so as to effect separation into single granules, or with the addition of a lubricant and a crosslinking agent thereto.

  • Publication number: 20020088541
Abstract: The method disclosed is for thermoplastic welding, by fusion bonding, an integral assembly of at least two composite thermoplastic parts (2, 4). One part (2) is integrally molded with a plurality of ribs (7) to be used and bonded to their mates (8) of the counterpart (4). A heat generator assembly (3) applies heat energy to the ribs (7, 8) of the parts so as to heat and thus fuse them. Immediately after the application of the heat energy, pressure is applied to the heated parts (2, 4) to push them together. The heated ribs (7) of the part (2) are consequently aligned and bonding contacted with the heated ribs (8) of the counterpart (4). This application of pressure is maintained during a predetermined period to facilitate fusion bonding of the ribs (7, 8). Finally, an integral assembly in which the part (2) is rigidly welded to the counterpart (4) the ribs (7, 8) is produced.

  • Patent number: 6164086
Abstract: An air conditioner has a refrigerant circuit 1 in which a refrigerant flows through a compressor 2, a condenser 3, a supercooling heat exchanger 10, a first expansion mechanism 4 and an evaporator 5 in this order. In this refrigerant circuit 1, the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 is condensed in the condenser 3 and the condensed refrigerant is supercooled in the supercooling heat exchanger 10. This refrigerant is reduced in pressure in the first expansion mechanism 4, thereafter evaporated in the evaporator 5 and sucked into the compressor. Use of a nonazeotrope refrigerant as the above refrigerant can increase the refrigerating capacity improving effect due to supercooling as compared with the case where a single refrigerant is used.

  • Patent number: 4623499
Abstract: A method for manufacturing shaped articles of organic substance is disclosed, which comprises mixing an organic substance as raw material with a binder, filling a die with the resultant binder-containing mixture, compressing the mixture in a prescribed shape in the die, and forcing a gaseous curing agent through the compressed mixture thereby curing the binder in the mixture and consequently solidifying the compressed mass. This method enables shaped articles such as noise absorbers, heat insulation panels, and plate materials to be produced efficiently and inexpensively at low energy consumption by the use of an inexpensive die.
