  • Patent number: 11846069
Abstract: A refiner segment for refining lignocellulosic material, has a surface including a plurality of bars extending along a direction between an inner periphery of the refiner segment and an outer periphery of the refiner segment, and a plurality of dams, each of the plurality of dams extending between a corresponding pair of adjacent bars among the plurality of bars, wherein at least one of the plurality of dams is a three-dimensionally extending body including three sides, the three-dimensionally extending body extends between the corresponding pair of adjacent bars and includes a curved side, forming one of the three sides, facing the inner periphery of the refiner segment, the curved side having a concave curvature with regard to the inner periphery to thereby form a rounded section in an area defined by the at least one of the plurality of dams and the corresponding pair of adjacent bars.

  • Patent number: 10675722
Abstract: Method and device for centering and temporary fixation of tube parts (1, 5) in relation to each other's interior surfaces. A first tool (9) is centered relative to a tube part interior surface (2, 6) by a radially adjustable centering mechanism (13). The centering mechanism (13) is insertable in the tube part (1, 5). A second tool (10) is centered relative to the first tool (9), by a guiding mechanism (15) which cooperates for centering of the tools (9, 10) relative to one another. The second tool comprises fixing mechanism (17) to fix the exterior surface of the tube part (1, 5) to the second tool (10), and at least one third guide (18) which centers two such second tools (10) relative to one another in their mounted position on respective tube part end (4, 8) and at least one coupling member (19) to connect the two second tools (10).

  • Patent number: 7850108
Abstract: A gyratory crusher includes an outer shell, which should be fastened in a frame included in the crusher, and an inner shell, which is intended to be fastened on a crushing head and to define together with the outer shell a crushing gap for receipt of material to be crushed. Upon fastening of the outer shell a first abutment surface on the outer periphery of the outer shell is brought in a first step to abutment against a first contact surface on the frame. In a second step a spacer member is pressed in for clamping of the outer shell between a second surface on the outer periphery of the outer shell and the frame. A good abutment is provided both at the first abutment. Surface of the outer shell and at the second abutment surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 6382461
Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for metering a predetermined amount of a particulate substance in a reliable and exact manner. The claimed invention avoids crushing or packing the material to be metered, and can be utilized with fine particulate substances with poor flow properties such as agglomerates as well as with coarser granulates. The substance to be metered is gravity-fed by a tumbling reservoir and inlet through an unbroken and uninterrupted inflow path which comprises two parts, one which is coaxial with the rotational axis, and a second which is inclined relative to the rotational axis. After passage through the inflow path, the substance enters the metering chamber which accurately and uniformly measures the desired quantity of substance, which then exits through the outflow path. The design of the device prevents inaccurate metering through overfilling or premature emptying of the metering chamber.
