Abstract: A projection display system includes a glasses system, a driving unit and a projection apparatus. The driving unit is electrically connected to the glasses system for repeatedly applying or removing a voltage to/from the glasses system. The projection apparatus includes an illumination system and a color wheel. The color wheel is in a transmission path of a light beam provided by the illumination system. The color wheel has a compensation zone and a plurality of color zones. When the color wheel is rotated, the compensation zone and the color zones sequentially pass through the light beam. The compensation zone has first, second and third sub compensation zones. • Publication number: 20100323746
Abstract: In a cellular radio system Transmission Power Control (TPC) power offset is set so that it is adjusted for each transmitting radio base station based on available relevant measurements that reflect the quality of the downlink channel carrying the uplink TPC command whereby an improved performance is obtained. The TPC power offset can for example be based on an estimated uplink Dedicated Physical Control CHannel (DPCCH) SINR, the number of TPC “up” and the number of TPC “down” sent by a radio base station and aggregated UE receiver power or UE transmit power over a number N slots. Also a mobile station used in a cellular radio system supporting soft handover may be adapted to apply TPC discarding thresholds based on the number and the quality of simultaneously received TPC commands.

  • Publication number: 20100283977
Abstract: An illumination system adapted to a projection apparatus is provided, including a light source module, a light color modulating module, and a control unit. The light color modulating module has a plurality of light color modulating units and is disposed in a transmission path of a light beam. The light color modulating module is capable of moving so that the light color modulating units move into the illumination region of the light beam. When the control unit determines that a boundary of any two adjacent light color modulating units has moved into the illumination region of the light beam, the control unit switches the light source module to an off-state. When the boundary of any two adjacent light color modulating units has moved away from the illumination region of the light beam, the control unit switches the light source module to an on-state. An illumination control method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20100233962
Abstract: A multi-carrier cellular radio communication system includes a serving base station associate with a serving cell currently serving a mobile radio and a non-serving base station within range of the mobile radio and associated with a non-serving cell. The mobile radio can transmit to the serving base station at the same time over multiple radio frequency carriers. An estimate is made of inter-cell interference in the non-serving cell caused by uplink transmission by the mobile radio over one or more of the multiple radio frequency carriers over which the mobile radio is currently simultaneously transmitting. If the estimated inter-cell interference in the non-serving cell exceeds a predetermined threshold, then the inter-cell interference in the non-serving cell is reduced or limited by managing radio resources so that the estimated inter-cell interference in the non-serving cell is or becomes less than the predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20100067389
Abstract: A method and a device relating to a scheduling mechanism in a base station in a WCDMA system are disclosed. The mechanism enables the base station to rapidly adapt to users momentary traffic demands and to interference variations, a dynamical adjustable margin is proposed in this invention. The adjustment is based on the RoT measurement in a cell. To fully use the resource in a cell, the RoT can be targeted to be as closer to the RoTmax as possible however without exceed the limit. The scheduler is preferably set to schedule as high a rate or as many users as possible to fill up the available RoT. The margin which is reserved for the neighboring cell load and external interference is decreased step by step as long as the RoT measurement is below a threshold under RoTmax. Whenever the RoT measurement exceeds the threshold, the margin is increased by one step.

  • Publication number: 20100054278
Abstract: A method, apparatus and medium are provided for detecting anomalous payloads transmitted through a network. The system receives payloads within the network and determines a length for data contained in each payload. A statistical distribution is generated for data contained in each payload received within the network, and compared to a selected model distribution representative of normal payloads transmitted through the network. The model payload can be selected such that it has a predetermined length range that encompasses the length for data contained in the received payload. Anomalous payloads are then identified based on differences detected between the statistical distribution of received payloads and the model distribution. The system can also provide for automatic training and incremental updating of models.

  • Publication number: 20100029322
Abstract: A radio network system employing a method with dynamic adjustment of the power offset that provides a “per-UE”-NACK to ACK power offset calculation method instead of using a fixed offset for all users in the cell is disclosed. Also for each UE, the power offset can adjusted dynamically. The adjustment is based on the error event of NACK to ACK. When an error event of NACK to ACK happens, the offset is increased, otherwise the offset is decreased. Hence, the offset can be controlled for each User Equipment for the duration of a call starting from some standard configured value is calculated and used rather than a fixed offset.
