Abstract: An actuator tip diffuser may be retrofitted onto existing pump dispensers to create a scatter flow. The scatter flow can be induced by using patterns with larger area sections produce separate, individual streams. Increasing the length of the orifice adapter and adding a center outer ring also reduced spatter. In all instances, the actuator tip diffuser includes a through-channel, with an inlet fitted to the existing actuator nozzle on one end and a downwardly disposed outlet for discharging fluid via the pattern of orifices/structure noted above. The tip may also include one or more retainer tabs to create a snap fitting to existing dispenser pumps.

The trigger sprayer includes a trigger body with a first engagement member and a nozzle with a second engagement member. The first engagement member is constructed and arranged to receive the second engagement member. The second engagement member is moveable relative to the first engagement member between a first position and a second position. Movement of the second engagement member relative to the first engagement member between the first and second positions encounters a region of increased resistance.

Abstract: A dispenser that also serves as a closure for transportable containers is described. The dispenser includes a trigger or other similar mechanism in which air must be admitted back into the container, usually by way of aperture. An insert is fitted into the aperture, with one or more tortuous paths circumscribed around the insert so as to permit air flow while simultaneously impeding and effectively preventing liquid from flowing out of the aperture when the container is inverted or otherwise rotated numerous times beyond its intended dispensing position (e.g., as might occur during transportation).

The foamer is described as having a high output and as being a mini foamer such that the associated pump engine is able to deliver a dosage for each stroke which is in excess of that dosage normally associated with mini foamers. The receptacle to which the pump engine is assembled has a neck finish which is smaller than those neck finishes normally associated with higher output foamers. The resulting combination as set forth herein is to provide a higher output dosage without changing the size benefits and preferences of a mini foamer.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method for talkburst initiator selection of talkgroup participants is provided. A selection application may receive, from an initiator of a group call destined for a talkgroup, a talkburst associated with a set of rules. The set of rules may specify criteria for selection of participants of the talkgroup that should receive the talkburst. It may be determined which members of the talkgroup satisfy the criteria specified by the set of rules. The talkburst may be sent, wherein only talkgroup members that satisfy the criteria specified by the set of rule output the talkburst.

The squeeze sprayer includes a cap which defines a chamber for receipt of air and fluid and further defines an outlet. Further included as a part of the squeeze sprayer is a valve which is assembled into the cap and a dip tube which is received by the cap. The dip tube is constructed and arranged to provide air to the chamber and the squeezing of the bottle forces air and fluid into the chamber and from there through the outlet to be dispensed as a spray or spray mist. A second embodiment provides an upright squeeze sprayer with a unique orifice cup. A third embodiment includes a directional adapter.

The child-resistant structures of other exemplary embodiments are constructed and arranged with a tab press-down feature. Actuation of the child-resistant structure (squeeze or press down) must be performed concurrently with the lifting action applied to the flip-open lid.

Abstract: A flowable product dispenser has a movable actuator (24) whose stroke length, represented by axial travel, corresponds to the product dosage which is dispensed. An adjustable ring (26) is fitted to a portion of the actuator wherein the position of the ring on the actuator determines the stroke length. This adjustable stroke feature allows the user of the dispenser to select a desired dosage within a dosage range for the particular dispenser.

The housing is assembled into the closure and the diaphragm is assembled into the housing. The mesh insert is positioned adjacent the foam outlet. The valve structure is provided in two (2) embodiments, one being a duckbill valve with a corresponding holder and the other being a metering valve with a corresponding holder.

Abstract: A circuit includes a converter that samples a signal read from a storage medium to generate a sample. The signal includes a physical address of data read from a track on the storage medium. A timing control device generates a clock signal based on a deviation of the track from a reference line. A scaling device generates a scale factor based on the clock signal. A multiplier multiplies the sample by the scale factor to generate a scaled sample. An integrator integrates the scaled sample over a period of the clock signal to generate a resultant value. A comparator compares the resultant value to a threshold to generate an output. The output indicates whether no phase imperfection exists in the scaled sample. A decoder, based on the output of the comparator, decodes the resultant value to obtain the physical address of the data.

The closure includes a portion which is received by the cap and these two (2) cooperate to define a foam outlet. The housing is assembled into the closure and the diaphragm is assembled into the housing. The mesh insert is positioned adjacent the foam outlet. The valve structure is provided in two (2) embodiments, one being a duckbill valve with a corresponding holder and the other being a metering valve with a corresponding holder.

Abstract: A circuit including a wobble signal phase imperfection detector configured to detect and correct a phase transition imperfection in a first scaled wobble signal sample. The wobble signal phase imperfection detector includes an integrator configured to integrate the first scaled wobble signal sample over substantially a half-period portion of the wobble clock signal, and a selector configured to select as an output either i) the first scaled wobble signal sample integrated over substantially one period of the wobble clock signal or ii) the first scaled wobble signal sample integrated over substantially the half-period portion of the wobble clock signal, wherein selection of the first scaled wobble signal sample integrated over substantially one period of the wobble clock signal indicates that the phase transition imperfection does not exist with the first scaled wobble signal sample.
