  • Publication number: 20240331561
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for automated evaluation and scoring of curriculum challenges such as tests and quizzes. An automated score is provided to students, as well as prescriptive guidance on where the provided solution deviates from best practices and/or the taught curriculum. Curriculum material and challenge material are input to a machine learning system to create a grading model. The challenge material can include a software programming challenge. The grading model is used to evaluate curriculum responses and provide a score and feedback based on the evaluation. The evaluation can be based on the curriculum. There can be multiple ways to solve a programming (coding) challenge and disclosed embodiments give scoring preference to solutions that employ techniques covered in the curriculum.

  • Publication number: 20240320400
Abstract: An embodiment includes identifying a first simulation and a second simulation such that the first simulation is within a threshold similarity of the second simulation. The embodiment generates a set of emergent simulations based at least in part on emergent hyperparameters, where the emergent hyperparameters are generated using the hyperparameters of the first and second simulations. The embodiment selects a subset of the set of emergent simulations according to a diversity metric and detects a causation variable in the selected subset of emergent simulations. The embodiment then generates a predictive simulation using the causation variable.

  • Publication number: 20240303178
Abstract: An embodiment for a method of using machine learning algorithms to proactively identify potential errors in code instance data for creating technical documentation. The embodiment may receive code instance data. The embodiment may generate error classifications for the received code instance data using a convolutional neural network and natural language processing techniques. The embodiment may perform a correlation analysis to derive correlations between the generated error classifications for the received code instance data and similarly occurring classifications in one or more historical code instances. The embodiment may calculate a score for each of the derived correlations, the calculated score corresponding to a likelihood that the similarly occurring classifications in the one or more other code instances represents a potential error. The embodiment may output notifications to a user for each of the derived correlations for which the calculated score exceeds a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 12079912
Abstract: Images placed in documents are enhanced based on the context in which the image is used. Context is determined according to document-specific indicators such as nearby text, headings, titles, and tables of content. A generative adversarial network (GAN) modifies the image according to the context to selectively emphasize relevant components of the image, which may include erasing or deleting irrelevant components. Relevant general-purpose images may be retrieved for use in the document and may be selectively enhanced according to usage of the general-purpose image in a given document.

  • Patent number: 12074862
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to integration of multiple services across multiple clouds within a unified IAM control plane. According to an example, an MSP provides (i) a user interface through which users of multiple tenants are able to configure permissions for and access multiple resources of a set of services associated with a hybrid cloud; and (i) a unified IAM control plane across the set of services, each of which potentially uses a different IAM protocol or scheme. A centralized IAM service is maintained by the MSP containing information regarding the permissions for the resources. Multiple service integrations for the set of services are supported by the MSP, including providing a first set of APIs that facilitate a direct integration with the unified IAM control plane in which the centralized IAM service maintains access control information for resources associated with a first service of the set of services.
