The cross-link assembly may be held in vertical alignment with the grapple when in a lock position to enable operational coupling of the grapple to an arm of a machine. The cross-link assembly may have a frame for connection to the grapple. The frame may have spaced apart arms to movably support a pin. The pin may have an abutment portion. A lock member may be movably engaged to the frame. The lock member may also be configured to engage with the abutment portion. The lock member may have a lock portion. The lock portion may be configured to engage with a lock element provided on the grapple.
