  • Patent number: 5743601
Abstract: An antilock brake control device installed across two independent brake circuits in which brake lines connect the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders of wheel brakes of diagonal front and rear wheels, in which for each brake circuit, a first brake line 21 connects the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders 141, 144 of the front wheels, first selector valve 24 is installed in each the first brake line 21, second brake line 22 connects the wheel cylinders 142, 143 of the rear wheels and the first brake line 21, second selector valve 25 is installed in the second brake line, reflux channel 23 connects the first brake line and the second brake line, and a hydraulic pump 26 is installed in the reflux line.

  • Patent number: 5593216
Abstract: An antilock brake device installed within the brake lines connecting the master cylinder with the four wheel brakes which includes a motor-driven pump and several solenoid valves and connecting lines thereof mounted in a housing. A series of valve mounting bores to house a maximum of eight valves are arranged in lattice-fashion on one planar surface of the housing. Depending on the brake circuit configuration, four or six electromagnetically-actuated valves are mounted in the valve mounting bores, and one or two pressure control valves, actuated by the pressure of the brake fluid within the brake lines, are mounted in the remaining valve mounting bores. This provides an antilock brake device in which the solenoid valves and pressure control valves are mounted within the same housing, thereby increasing the commonalty of the housing for different types of brake circuits to produce a more compact, more lightweight, and less expensive device.

  • Patent number: 5402824
Abstract: A solenoid valve incorporates a pressure chamber with passage to an inlet port, a pressure chamber with passage to an outlet port, and an electromagnetically-actuatable valve arrangement fitted in the fluid line between the two pressure chambers. The chambers are manufactured inside a housing inserted into a housing cavity bored into a mounting block. The opening or closing of the valve arrangement switches fluid lines, wherein each pressure chamber is fitted on either side in the axial direction with a seal in which the pressure-subjected area of each seal is virtually equal. Each pressure chamber is connected with passage to a corresponding inlet or outlet port. Thus, no axial force in any one direction is generated no matter how high the pressure becomes within a pressure chamber.Further, a pair of solenoid valves can be inserted face-to-face on either side of a housing cavity bored through the full length of the mounting block.

  • Patent number: 5395219
Abstract: A hydraulic pump including a housing having a housing bore with a piston sliding in an axial direction in the bore and a pump chamber being defined in cavity adjacent one end of the piston. A piston drive mechanism is provided in a housing chamber defined in the bore adjacent the other end of the piston. Piston return springs are mounted in the pump chamber biasing the piston towards the piston drive mechanism. An inlet valve is arranged in the pump chamber opening and closing an axial bore in the piston connected to an inlet passage. An outlet valve is set on a downstream side of the pump chamber opening and closing an outlet passage. Two elastic seal members are mounted around a circumference of the piston respectively sealing an area between the pump chamber and the inlet passage and an area between the inlet passage and the housing chamber.

  • Patent number: 5333836
Abstract: A solenoid valve comprising a housing having at least one cavity, a core assembly including a body, a sleeve attached to the body, and an armature assembly sliding in the sleeve. A core assembly is mounted in at least one cavity of the housing having a lower portion of the body between a side of the body exposed to atmosphere and a side exposed to fluid pressure in use being affixed to the housing by a primary caulking joint inside the cavity and a secondary caulking joint at a mouth of the housing cavity. A coil assembly is mounted on an exterior of38 the core assembly magnetically influencing the armature assembly. The primary caulking joint is formed between a pressure acting surface of the cavity of the housing and a primary sealing groove on the body.
