    Abstract: In a display system, a remote control has a first signal production component for producing a first image switching signal, which is a command signal to switch between first image data, which includes confidential information and second image data, which is non-confidential information, in response to a manipulation component being manipulated by a specific user. A display device has a first image switching component that directs switching between the first image data and the second image data displayed on the display device, according to the first image switching signal received from the remote control. When the first image switching signal is inputted, the first image switching component executes first image switching control in which the first image data displayed on the display device is switched to the second image data and the second image data displayed on the display device is switched to the first image data.
