  • Publication number: 20140112215
Abstract: A technique for enabling utilization of a one-way link in wireless communication systems of the type using whitespaces is disclosed. A wireless communication system (1) is arranged to include a transmitting station (10) which transmits data by wireless communication and receiving stations (21-22) which receive data as sent thereto, for performing wireless communication by using a whitespace. The receiving station (21, 22) detects data receivability at a specific frequency and sends communication quality information which is a detection result thereof to the transmitting station (10). The transmitting station (10) holds this communication quality information. Then, upon startup of data reception by wireless communication, the receiving station (21, 22) sends to the transmitting station (10) a packet indicating required quality which is a condition for the data reception.

  • Publication number: 20130235771
Abstract: A network management unit included in a base station of WRAN, and a heterogeneous-systems coexistence function unit included in a relay station perform communications by taking advantage of the wireless line of WRAN. In this way, the network management unit and the heterogeneous-systems coexistence function unit make the determination and management of a frequency channel to be utilized by WLAN. Concretely, the QP (Quiet Period) of WRAN and that of WLAN are synchronized with each other with respect to the above-described frequency channel. During the synchronized QPs, WRAN and WLAN make the absence confirmation of a primary user.

  • Patent number: 8162719
Abstract: The optical surface of a lens (21) held and rotated by the rotating shaft (12) of a lathe is cut or ground into an aspherical surface from a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft (12) and the axial direction of the rotating shaft (12) while a processing locus (t) which is concentric or spiral about the rotating shaft (12) as the center is formed. In processing, the lens (21) is arranged in a grinding region (20) at a position spaced apart from the turning center (Zo) of the processing locus (t).

  • Publication number: 20100209603
Abstract: This invention provides a process for producing a spectacle lens, which can remove machining traces, is free from a striped pattern, a variation in the degree of lenses, and a sagged shape and can improve the optical properties and quality of the spectacle lens. To this end, an optical surface (2a, 2b) of a spectacle lens (1) is machined. A hard coat film (4) formed of a material having hardness equal to or higher than a lens base material is formed on the machined optical surface (2a, 2b). Thereafter, the surface of the hard coat film (4) is polished, and an antireflection film (5) is formed on the polished hard coat film (4).

  • Publication number: 20090202706
Abstract: Even when the optical surface (2a, 2b) of a spectacle lens (1) is a machined surface, a machining trace can be erased, so no machining trace is visually observed during inspection. The step of applying a coating film solution, made of a material which is the same as that of a lens base material, on the optical surface (2a, 2b) of the spectacle lens (1) which is a machined surface, and the step of forming a coating film (4) by hardening, by heating, the coating film solution applied to the optical surface (2a, 2b) are provided. The steps of forming a hard coating film (5) on the film (4) and an antireflection film (6) on the hard coating film (5) are also provided.
