  • Publication number: 20060131962
Abstract: An interconnected generator system comprises: a DC power generator means; an inverter circuit operative to convert the DC power from the DC power generator means into AC power; a current smoothing circuit including a condenser and operative to smooth the AC power converted at the inverter circuit; and a system open/close relay operative to connect the current smoothing circuit to an AC power system in an open/close-switchable manner. A bypass circuit is provided to bypass the system open/close relay to connect the current smoothing circuit to the AC power system. The bypass circuit breaks the flow through the bypass circuit when a bypass open/close relay is opened and connects the current smoothing circuit to the AC power system via a positive thermistor when the bypass open/close relay is closed.

  • Patent number: 6285572
Abstract: A method whereby a plurality of inverters for converting DC power outputted from a DC power supply, such as solar cells or fuel cells, to AC power are operated efficiently without being biased to particular inverters. The number of inverters to be run is determined in correspondence with at least one output value of the DC output or AC output, and the determined number of inverters are selected and made to run from among the plurality of inverters on the basis of a predetermined rule. In addition, a parallel-connected system is disclosed for enabling efficient and appropriate parallel-in operation by the use of inverters, with one of the inverters controlling the remaining inverters and effecting system interconnection protection.

  • Patent number: 6058035
Abstract: After starting the input of a switching signal to a booster circuit whose boosting rate is changeable in accordance with the duty ratio of the inputted switching signal and calculating the output power of an inverter circuit, which is connected to the subsequent stage of the booster circuit, from the output current of the inverter circuit, the target voltage after boosting by the booster circuit is obtained based on the output power. If the actual output voltage of the booster circuit is lower than the target voltage, the duty ratio of the above switching signal is increased, and if higher, the duty ratio of the above switching signal is decreased.
