  • Patent number: 7472847
Abstract: For achieving a fluidic device, being able to be made small in sizes, comprising a fluid inflow opening 1, a connector duct 2, and a fluid jet nozzle, wherein the connector duct 2 is constructed with curves, and is further constructed with two (2) pieces of flow passages, being symmetric on both sides. Constructing the connector duct with the curves reduces resistance of fluid within the duct, and further dividing the connector duct into two (2) parts in both side enhances the flows at confluent point in the duct (increase of the flow velocity).

  • Patent number: 6156090
Abstract: An air cleaner includes a housing having an upper wall and side walls, an air filter mounted with respect to the housing, a fan including a vane-wheel having a plurality of vanes, a supporting plate extending substantially between at least two side walls for supporting the fan. An air flow directional member directs an air flow output from the fan. The vane is formed to have a winglike cross-section, and the vane-wheel includes not more than four vanes. The vane-wheel has a base plate and a shroud. Each of the base plate and the shroud is formed to have a reinforcement portion on its circumference. A U-shaped balance weight is attached to a flattened portion formed on the curled portion. The air cleaner of the present invention can reduce noise and vibration and improve efficiency of the fan.

  • Patent number: 6019808
Abstract: An air cleaner of the present invention includes a housing having an upper wall and side walls, a fan, a supporting plate extending between the two side walls for supporting the fan, a first air flow directional member extending between the supporting plate and the upper wall, and a second air flow directional member provided at a horizontal periphery of the housing. The first air flow directional member not only provides reinforcement to the supporting plate and the upper wall, but also directs an air flow output from the fan. The second air flow directional member has a horizontal plate and vertical plates for directing air flow at the horizontal periphery of the housing. The first air flow directional member and the second air flow directional member are adapted to equalize a velocity of an air flow distributed across an air flow output area of the fan unit.

  • Patent number: 5578466
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a transformant comprising the following expression units in a co-expressible state:an expression unit containing a gene coding for a receptor protein ERD2 from yeast or analog thereof which is capable of binding to a protein localizing in endoplasmic reticulum and having a signal for staying therein;an expression unit containing a gene coding for said protein localizing in endoplasmic reticulum; andan expression unit containing a foreign gene coding for a polypeptide which is a subject of function of said protein localizing in endoplasmic reticulum, andto a transformant comprising, in a co-expressible state, a fusion gene which is composed of a DNA fragment coding for a human serum albumin prepro-sequence and a foreign gene coding for a useful polypeptide. The present invention is also directed to a process for producing said polypeptide by co-expressing said genes in said transformant such that the polypeptide is predominantly secreted out of the transformant cell.
