  • Publication number: 20040028590
Abstract: A combustion type waste gas treatment method wherein waste gas discharged from an industrial product manufacturing process is introduced into combustion flames to thermally or oxidatively decompose a combustible component in the waste gas. Hydrogen gas and oxygen gas are generated by electrolysis of water and supplied as a gas for combustion to form the combustion flames. A pipe or a hole through which the combustion flames can be viewed directly is formed in a wall of the burner part upstream of the combustion flames. The combustion flames are detected with a UV sensor through the pipe or the hole.

  • Patent number: 6638343
Abstract: A waste gas treatment system has a primary cooling section provided at a stage subsequent to a decomposition treatment section in which a waste gas is subjected to decomposition treatment at high temperature. The primary cooling section has a liquid spray part for spraying a liquid on the treated gas from the decomposition treatment section. A secondary cooling section cools the treated gas sprayed with the liquid in the primary cooling section to reduce the volume of the treated gas. Further, a particle collecting section injects a liquid into the treated gas cooled in the secondary cooling section to collect fine particles contained in the treated gas.

  • Publication number: 20020041836
Abstract: A combustion type waste gas treatment system capable of oxidatively decomposing a hazardous and combustible waste gas under heating efficiently with a structure which allows the waste gas to mix with an auxiliary burning gas efficiently without the occurrence of backfire in a waste gas inlet pipe. The combustion type waste gas treatment system has a burner part and a combustion chamber. Combustion flames are formed to extend from the burner part toward the combustion chamber, and a combustible waste gas is introduced into the combustion frames from waste gas inlet pipes thereby oxidatively decomposing the waste gas. A flow velocity accelerating device makes the flow velocity of the combustible waste gas flowing through the waste gas inlet pipe higher than the burning velocity of the combustible waste gas.

  • Patent number: 5317937
Abstract: A control system of a vehicle automatic transmission in which an engine load and a vehicle speed are detected and used to determine a vehicle acceleration in accordance with the pre-established characteristics. An actual vehicle acceleration is at the same time calculated in response to the detected vehicle speed. The difference therebetween is then calculated and the calculated value is added to a difference calculated earlier to obtain an average therebetween. Five gear shifting scheduling maps, for example, one for moderate hill climbing, one for level-road running, one for steep hill descent, are pre-established and in response to the average obtained, one of the maps is selected. A gear shifting is controlled based on the selected map. In a pre-determined condition, such as when the engine load changes abruptly, braking is in progress and so on, the map selection is suspended and the control is carried out using the map selected earlier.

  • Patent number: 4768635
Abstract: A vehicular transmission having a fluid torque converter of the type in which a clutch is provided for mechanically connecting the input and output sides of a fluid torque converter above certain vehicle speeds for improved operation and economy and in which the clutch is operated within a predetermined vehicular speed range by such a relatively low engaging force as to allow slippage of said clutch for minimizing vibration. A control system causes the engaging force of the clutch to be increased more than that which is normally established below a reference value of small throttle valve opening for providing a braking effect by the engine. The control system also may provide for stopping the increase in engaging force at small throttle valve openings when the r.p.m. of the output side of the fluid torque converter falls below the r.p.m.

  • Patent number: 4741920
Abstract: A greatly improved printing screen used for screen printing is provided in respect of the durability in printing, resistance against solvents and antistatic performance based on a mesh of polyester or nylon filaments. According to the invention, the base mesh is subjected to exposure to low temperature plasma of an inorganic gas prior to coating with a photosensitive resin composition in the form of an aqueous emulsion. When the plasma-treated mesh is coated, prior to coating with the photosensitive resin emulsion, with a surface active agent or when the photosensitive resin emulsion is admixed with a surface active agent, further improvement can be obtained in the antistatic performance of the screen. When a base screen dyed in yellow is used, the drawbacks caused by halation in the pattern-wise exposure of the screen to light can be greatly reduced.
