  • Patent number: 9720556
Abstract: An image is placed, based on a predetermined designation input, on a predetermined placement position in relation to a display area, and displayed. The image is enlarged and reduced in accordance with an enlargement ratio of the image, and an area within which the placement position can be set is changed in relation to the display area in accordance with the enlargement ratio. Then, based on an obtained designation input, a position within the area, which position corresponds to the designation input, is calculated as a placement position, and the image having been enlarged and reduced is placed on the placement position. The image is then displayed on a display device.

  • Patent number: 9643085
Abstract: An object arranged in a virtual world is caused to move in accordance with data based on a load applied to a load detection device. Then, based on attitude data outputted from a portable display device and a position of the object in the virtual world, a first virtual camera for generating an image of the virtual world is controlled, and a first image representing the virtual world viewed from the first virtual camera is displayed on the portable display device.

  • Patent number: 9539511
Abstract: It is determined, based on attitude data, whether or not a direction of a predetermined axis set in a portable display device is within a first range. When the result of the determination is that the direction of the predetermined axis is within the first range, an action of a first object arranged in a virtual world is controlled based on the direction of the predetermined axis. When it is determined that the direction of the predetermined axis is outside the first range, at least an action of a second object arranged in the virtual world is controlled based on the direction of the predetermined axis. Then, a first image showing the virtual world including at least the first object and the second object is displayed on the portable display device.

  • Patent number: 9370712
Abstract: An action of a first object placed in a virtual world is controlled on the basis of body state data output from a portable display apparatus. An action of a second object placed in the virtual world is controlled on the basis of touch position data based on a touch position on a touch panel provided on a surface of a display screen of the portable display apparatus. Then, a first image including at least a part of the first object and at least a part of the second object is generated, and the first image is displayed on the portable display apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20060182190
Abstract: There is provided a distribution line carrier transmitting device which supports, for example, frequency division communication and in which even a frequency band used for communication is variable, a filter to be used is changed according to the frequency band, so that an influence of noise is eliminated, and stable communication is enabled. The distribution line carrier transmitting device includes plural filters to selectively attenuate a signal in a band not used for the communication among received signals, and a selection unit to select a specified filter among the plural filters according to an instruction from an external I/F.

  • Publication number: 20040176945
Abstract: A finite state transducer generator includes a recursive transition network creating part that creates a recursive transition network, an arc replacement part that recursively repeats an operation where an arc in a finite state transducer is replaced by a network corresponding to an input label of the arc by a network in the recursive transition network, and a priority calculating part that calculates an arc replacement priority based on statistical information regarding frequency of applying grammar rules. The arc replacement part replaces arcs in descending order of arc replacement priority. Therefore, the finite state transducer generator can generate a finite state transducer capable of parsing a considerable great number of sentences within a limited size.
