Patent number: 7430522Abstract: Provided is a computation apparatus that is able to adequately obtain a relative value of an incentive point issued by each shop, by computing an exchange rate used in exchanging shop points of the shop into common points. The computation apparatus (25) stores a function for defining the exchange rate (250), and internally maintains, for rate computation, the used house point (UHP) that represents a portion of shop points that has been spent (redeemed) in a shop that has issued the shop points), and the active general point (AGP) that represents a portion of common points that is obtained by exchanging shop points and is not spent yet. A rate function is defined so as to yield a higher exchange rate in exchanging shop points of the shop into common points when the used house point (UHP) of the shop is larger, and to yield a lower exchange rate when the active general point (AGP) of the shop is larger.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2007Date of Patent: September 30, 2008Assignee: SOFTBANKBB Corp.Inventor: Keiichi Nakajima

Patent number: 7296755Abstract: An electronic payment system for making electronic money payments for transactions. A payment terminal stores a balance of electronic money for payment on a dealing by electronic money. A demanding terminal communicates with the payment terminal to demand the payment and a payment apparatus communicates with the demanding terminal and stores a balance of electronic money to correspond to an identification number of the payment terminal for allowing settlement on the dealing. The demanding terminal receives from the payment terminal the balance stored in the payment terminal and transmits the balance to the payment apparatus. The payment apparatus detects an improper use by checking the balance stored in the payment terminal, which was received from the demanding terminal, with the balance stored in the payment apparatus. The system of the present invention provides secure and convenient electronic money payment for a user's transaction.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2005Date of Patent: November 20, 2007Assignee: SOFTBANKBB CorporationInventor: Keiichi Nakajima

Publication number: 20070177740Abstract: It is aimed to provide an encryption key distribution system which can be easily operated, highly freely share the data therein, and achieve high reliability for authentication of one or more unlocking right owners who are assigned to each encrypted folder. An encryption key distribution system 500 stores a lock used to lock a folder on a PC 100, and stores an unlocking key corresponding to the lock on a key distribution server 200. To view a locked folder (hereinafter referred to as the encrypted folder), a mobile telephone 300 accesses the key distribution server 200, and is authenticated by using authentication data unique to the mobile telephone 300. Under the condition that the authentication is successful, the key distribution server 200 distributes the unlocking key to the PC 100. The PC 100 unlocks the encrypted folder by using the unlocking key distributed from the key distribution server 200, thereby displaying the contents of the folder.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2007Publication date: August 2, 2007Inventor: Keiichi Nakajima

Publication number: 20070130025Abstract: A simple, easy, and safe electronic settlement system is provided. A user terminal such as a cellular phone is wirelessly connected to a synchronizing server. A cashier server of a mail order retailer activates a virtual cashier terminal, and connects to the synchronizing server. The synchronizing server sets a transaction identifying number in order to identify the transaction, and sends to the user terminal information about the cashier server and the transaction identifying number. A user confirms the cashier server, and returns the transaction identifying number to the synchronizing server. The synchronizing server completes a transaction between the virtual cashier terminal and the user terminal, both of which are corresponded to each other by the transaction identification number. The user can complete a settlement of mail order without telling his or her personal information such as a credit card number or a password to a mail order retailer. A security of the system is improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2007Publication date: June 7, 2007Inventor: Keiichi Nakajima

Publication number: 20060001635Abstract: The driver circuit outputs a drive signal from an output terminal. The driver circuit has an output circuit and an output control circuit. The output circuit outputs either power supply voltage VDD2 or ground voltage VEE from the output terminal according to an input signal. While an output signal of the output circuit changes from first voltage to second voltage, the output control circuit drops the output voltage from supply voltage VDD2 to VDD2? and then changes it to ground voltage VEE.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2005Publication date: January 5, 2006Applicant: NEC Electronics CorporationInventor: Keiichi Nakajima
