  • Patent number: 9612597
Abstract: In an autonomously navigating utility vehicle adapted to run a working area defined by a laid boundary wire autonomously having a pair of magnetic sensors installed on either sides of the vehicle at positions laterally symmetrical with respect to a vehicle straight forward center line to produce outputs indicating intensity of magnetic field of the wire, an angular velocity sensor adapted to produce an output indicating angular velocity around a vertical axis of the vehicle, the vehicle is controlled to move to a prescribed position at which an angle of the center line relative to the laid wire becomes a reference angle based on the outputs of the magnetic sensors, and to turn by 180 degrees, and calibrates the output of the angular velocity sensor by outputs of the angular velocity sensor obtained at the turning.

  • Patent number: 9400282
Abstract: A method for measuring the absolute amount of a target protein contained in a protein mixture, including the steps of: (A) fragmenting the sample containing the target protein and labeling with a stable isotope X; (B) adding a known amount of an internal standard that is prepared by fragmenting a standard protein that is identical to the target protein, and labeling with a stable isotope Y; (C) placing the sample in an LC-MS/MS device and performing multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) analysis using MRM transitions selected for the internal standard; and (D) identifying a peptide derived from the target protein (a target peptide) that shows the same retention time as a peptide derived from the internal standard (an internal standard peptide), and quantifying the target protein in the test sample by comparing the peak area of the internal standard peptide with the peak area of the target peptide.

  • Publication number: 20070009496
Abstract: The proliferation of cardiomyocytes is induced by expressing cyclin and CDK in the cardiomyocytes, and by suppressing the function or action of a Cip/Kip family protein or inhibiting the production of a Cip/Kip family protein. Among the Cip/Kip family proteins, it is preferable to suppress the function of p27KiP1 or inhibiting the production thereof. As a recombinant vector to be used therefor, there is provided a vector comprising: (1) a cyclin gene; (2) a cyclin-dependent kinase gene; and (3) one or a plurality selected from the group consisting of a gene encoding a factor that inhibits the function or action of a Cip/Kip family protein and a nucleic acid sequence that inhibits the production of Cip/Kip family protein.

  • Patent number: 6006080
Abstract: A receiving mixer device for a mobile radio transceiver which operates with multiple modulation modes and within multiple frequency bands. The receiving mixer includes a plurality of mixers each for converting a received radio frequency signal to an intermediate frequency, a common connection part to which output terminals of the mixers are connected in common, a plurality of impedance conversion circuits connected to the common connection part, and output terminals for the impedance conversion circuits. The number of mixers is equal to the number of frequency bands of the received radio frequency signal. The number of the intermediate frequencies is equal to the number of modulation modes of the received radio frequency signal. The number of the impedance conversion circuits is equal to the number of intermediate frequencies, and each of the impedance conversion circuits passes only a single predetermined frequency of the intermediate frequencies used by the device.
