  • Patent number: 4954102
Abstract: A wiring connection apparatus is disclosed in which an electric connection box connected to connectors of terminals of wire harnesses is housed and fixed in a protecting cover. A reception seat for fixing the electric connection box by means of a screw is fixed to the protecting cover. A lock unit is provided between the reception seat and the connectors of the terminals of the wire harnesses so that the electric connection box and the connectors may be simultaneously connected to each other when the electric connection box is fixed to the reception seat by the screw.

  • Patent number: 4950168
Abstract: The circuits contained in an electrical connection box provided near an instrument panel of a car can be separated into a plurality of separately formed connection blocks. The connection blocks each have terminals in which a plurality of conductors are press-fitted so that the connection blocks are electrically connected through the conductors and the terminals. The relative positions of the connection blocks are then adjusted so that the shapes of the connection blocks and conductors conform to the shape of the instrument panel. Thus, the connection box is close to the objects with which it is to be connected, the capacity of accommodating more fuses, circuits, etc., is increased, and electrical wires are shortened. Additionally, it is easy to adjust the connection box for various types of cars and specifications.

  • Patent number: 4938719
Abstract: A junction block comprises a pair of first and second cover cases each having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface grooves therein; a plurality of electrical conductors each having a first portion, a second portion, and a middle portion therebetween, the first portion being received in a groove of the first cover case and the second portion being received in a groove of the second cover case; contact-terminals inserted into the cover cases through the grooves to protrude through the outer surfaces of the first and second cover cases for electrical connection with external circuits as well as the conductors; the first cover case being piled on the second cover case such that the respective inner surfaces face each other; and insulating partitioning means sandwiched between the first and second cover cases.
