  • Patent number: 7278906
Abstract: An adhesive tape which is to be arranged between a lens and at least one of a plurality of chucks in an edge-machining apparatus comprises an adhesive face for being in contact with the lens. A measurement of an adhesive strength of the adhesive face is 4 gf (0.0392 N) or more when a polyethylene terephthalate plate which has been subjected to a surface treatment with a fluorine-modified silicone parting agent is used as a test plate in an adhesive strength test method based on a 180°-peeling method as defined in JIS Z 0237 “adhesive tape/adhesive sheet test method”. A technique which can be used to edge the lens in which an antifouling layer is formed by using a fluorine-containing silane compound having an excellent antifouling effect is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070210048
Abstract: Disclosed is a pulsed arc welding method using a pulse current of alternately repeating first and second pulses as a weld current, wherein the first pulse and the second pulse have a pulse waveform of a different pulse peak current level and a different pulse width, respectively, and the following conditions are satisfied: peak current of the first pulse (Ip1)=300 to 700A; peak period (Tp1)=0.3 to 5.0 ms; base current Ib1=30 to 200A, base period (Tb1)=0.3 to 10 ms; peak current of the second pulse (Ip2)=200 to 600A; peak period (Tp2)=1.0 to 15 ms; base current (Ib2)=30 to 200A; and base period (Tb2)=3.0 to 20 ms. In this manner, the consumable electrode arc welding using carbon dioxide gas alone or a mixed gas made mainly of carbon dioxide gas as a shield gas can benefit from stabilized welding arc, improved regularity of droplet transfer, and significantly reduced generation rates of spatters and fumes.

  • Publication number: 20070164008
Abstract: Welding is carried out using a consumable electrode while applying to a welding wire a vibration at a frequency of 500 Hz or more and an amplitude of 0.01 to 0.5 mm. The vibration is preferably applied in a direction crossing the feeding direction of the welding wire. A vibration under these conditions is preferably applied to a tip of the welding wire by using the forced vibration or resonance of the welding torch or the resonance of the welding wire itself.

  • Publication number: 20070102409
Abstract: In a pulsed arc welding method of the invention, a shield gas made mainly of carbon dioxide gas is used, and a low frequency pulse of 30 to 100 Hz is continuously generated, on which a high frequency pulse with a pulse frequency of 500 to 2000 Hz is superimposed. In this case, the welding current is determined such that an average peak current IPavg is at 300 to 700 A, an average base time Tb is at 5 to 30 ms, a current amplitude IP-a at a peak time of a high frequency pulse is at 50 to 600 A, and a current amplitude IPb at a base time of a high frequency pulse is at 20 to 200 A. This method ensures a reduced degree of biasing of a drop and an arc, for which the size, release time and release direction of a drop are kept substantially completely constant, and can achieve drop transfer wherein regularity of one pulse group-one drop transfer is very high. Hence, spatter and fume generation rates can be remarkably reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060031496
Abstract: A program interlocking system includes a portable user terminal connected to a provider server over a network. The provider server stores a start time of a program to be broadcast and interlock data for interlocking with the program. The interlock data includes reproduction data for reproducing a character string and/or a voice related to a scene of the program, and elapsed time data indicating a time elapsed from a program start time until appearance of the scene. The portable terminal requests the provider server to transmit the interlock data, stores the interlock data, requests the current time and the program start time, measures a time based on the current time and stores the program start time data. When the measured time is a time obtained by adding the program start time to the elapsed time, the reproduction data related to the elapsed time is reproduced.

  • Publication number: 20050261976
Abstract: A portable information terminal device is capable of automatically linking with a marketing site whenever a user desires to purchase merchandise connected with an incoming call melody. The portable terminal internally stores incoming call melody data corresponding to an incoming telephone call event and also stores URL data transmissible to a merchandise marketing server that markets merchandise connected with an incoming call melody data downloaded via an accessed contents server. When an incoming telephone call event occurs, the portable terminal reads out incoming call melody data corresponding to the generated event so as to play incoming call melody. After the call is terminated, the portable terminal outputs a previously stored selective message on a display screen so as to enable the user to choose whether he/she would purchase merchandise connected to the incoming call melody.
