  • Patent number: 8533376
Abstract: A data processing method includes generating a data storing area in a memory space. An area address of the data storing area is designated to a basic I/O control on the user space in a memory. The memory has a user space and a kernel space. A function is called in the kernel space using the basic I/O control. Whether the data storing area is inside the memory space is determined. The area address of the data storing area is set as an argument of the function in a case where it is determined that the data storing area is included in the memory space.

  • Patent number: 6831250
Abstract: A method for calculating the shape of a bead of a welded part by solving the problem of multiple solutions when the shape causing a recess or undercut in the flange is determined by calculation. The geometry data on the object to be welded, the characteristic parameters of the object and welding environment, and the welding conditions are set. Under the welding conditions, the melting part of the object is inferred by heat conduction calculation. The coordinates are rotated about an axis parallel to the direction of the welding and/or about an axis perpendicular to the welding direction for the inferred melting part. A difference lattice is set for the coordinate-rotated melting part. The displacement of the melting part for which the difference lattice is set is calculated by a curved surface equation.

Abstract: A method for calculating the shape of a bead of a welded part determining an appropriate welding condition by solving the problem of multiple solution of when the shape causing a recess or undercut in the flange is determined by calculation. • Patent number: 6271500
Abstract: The invention provides an arc welding monitoring device by which it is possible to easily find how detected data such as a welding current and welding voltage correspond to trajectories of a robot, in other words, welding line information of a welding work. The arc welding monitoring device comprises means 4 and 5 for detecting at least either the welding current or welding voltage, a means 14 for storing the detected data, a means 14 for storing trajectories of a robot, and a means for displaying, on a screen display, at least either the welding current or welding voltage detected by said detecting means, and the trajectories of the robot stored by the storing means, wherein a range is determined on the trajectories displayed on the screen display, and arc welding monitoring display is enabled in compliance with the range.

  • Patent number: 6167328
Abstract: When a robot language is to be displayed and edited, a teaching apparatus or a programming pendant heretofore displays intermediate code of the robot language as expressed by characters. The operator cannot intuitively recognize motions of the robot, needs time to master the robot language, and is required to actually move the robot to confirm the correctness of the program after the robot has been taught. According to the present invention, a robot language processing apparatus includes a display device for graphically displaying a picture and designating a position in the displayed picture with a pointing device, a memory for storing a robot program, a graphical language processor for displaying an operation interval and an air-cut interval as successive lines on the display device by referring to the robot program, and controlling the display device to display the type of an operation detail at either one of the lines when the either one of the displayed lines is designated by the pointing device.

  • Patent number: 5173592
Abstract: Approximate straight lines or approximate curves at the instructed points are obtained on the basis of coordinates actually passed by a welding torch at the instructed points in the welding of the first layer, points on the approximate straight lines or approximate curves are calculated on the basis of distance at the instructed points, and actual welding path is defined at the points. In the locus of the second and succeeding layers, a shift direction and a shift amount are obtained by calculation on the basis of two points instructed as a welding start point and a termination point in the teaching of the first layer and two reference points designated to define the shift direction, and the locus of operation after the second layer is calculated to effect multi-layer welding.
