  • Patent number: 5298006
Abstract: Disclosed is a machining method of a punch press machine by which a moving time of a workpiece table is excluded in a punch press machining to improve an operation efficiency. When the punch press machine is commanded to execute a machining for punching a multiplicity of products, a custom macro stored in the memory of a numerical control apparatus is read out (S3), if a tool change is commanded (S4), a tool is changed without moving the workpiece table on which a raw material sheet is fixed (S5) and a machining sequence is reversed (S6), an actual machining is executed by a tool in a forward or reverse machining sequence (S7), unless a custom macro is finished a next machining command is executed (S8), and a next custom macro is executed unless all the machinings are finished (S9), and thus a wasteful waiting time arisen when a tool is changed is excluded, whereby an operation efficiency can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5298843
Abstract: The present invention allows easy restarting of a multiple product machining function in interrupted punch press work. An interrupted machining position is identified with a product number set on a work and a product number of a product for which machine operation is stopped or a product number of a product to be next machined is entered. When this product number is entered, a command program is modified according to a product number entered. The modified program gives machining commands from a work position for a product other than the product for which machine operation is interrupted to a punch press machine.

  • Patent number: 5191188
Abstract: A machining head interference preventive method for preventing an interference by a punching head and a laser head with work holders of compound equipment designed to perform a punch-pressing and laser machining. Horizontal interference areas wherein the punching head or the laser head will horizontally interfere with the work holders are established, and a vertical interference area wherein the laser head will vertically interfere with the work holders is also provided. When the laser machining mode is selected (S1) and the laser head descends to the vertical interference area wherein it will vertically interfere with the work holders (S2), the position of the laser head is monitored, and if the laser head enters a horizontal interference area (S3), then an alarm is sounded (S4).
