  • Patent number: 6817645
Abstract: A seat arrangement for a vehicle includes a first row of seats, a second row of seats mounted behind the first row of seats in a vehicular cabin, and a third row of seats mounted behind the second row of seats in the cabin. A second row seat is slidable in the longitudinal direction, and a seat cushion of the third row seat can be pivoted about a pivotal axis in the vicinity of its front edge into the upright position. When the seat cushion of the third row seat is in the upright position and the second row seat is slid rearwardly, the seat cushion of the third row seat and the second row seat are positioned closely with each other. The second row seat can slide rearwardly without interference from the step on the floor or rear wheel housings bulging out into a cabin.

  • Patent number: 6757726
Abstract: A cache server is provided in an internal network. The cache server comprises a cache-data-list table and a cache-data-list administrating unit. The cache-data-list table stores information concerning data retained by other cache servers on an individual cache server basis. The cache-data-list administrating unit receives a data-inquiry request from one of the other cache servers, and searches the cache-data-list table for cache-server information indicating another one of the other cache servers retaining data regarding the data-inquiry request so as to send the cache-server information to the one of the other cache servers.

  • Patent number: 6698813
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle-seat storing structure having in combination an instrument panel disposed in the front end zone of a cabin space of a vehicle along the width direction of the vehicle, and a seat disposed opposed to the instrument panel. A concave portion is formed in the surface of the instrument panel opposed to the seat so as to receive therein at least a part of the seat in a seat position where a seat cushion is slidingly moved to a given position in the front end zone of the cabin space and a seatback is inclined frontwardly by a given angle. Further, the instrument panel defines an inside space having a given zone containing an air-conditioning unit for controllably adjusting cabin air and outside air to provide a desired cabin-air condition.

  • Patent number: 6501814
Abstract: A dry radioactive substance storage facility stores spent fuel assemblies from nuclear power plants. The facility comprises a structure having a storage room storing storage tubes containing spent fuel assemblies. An air inlet duct defining an air inlet passage through which air is supplied into the storage room and a stack defining an air discharge passage through which air from the storage room is discharged outside are connected to the storage room. Radiation shielding members are disposed on the side of the air inlet duct and on the side of the stack, respectively, in the storage room to intercept radiation propagating toward the air inlet passage and the air discharge passage.
