  • Publication number: 20090315323
Abstract: Provided is a process for producing a glass-like carbon deformed molded article having a deformed section (typically, an elliptical section or a section composed of partial circles and linear portions), such as a glass-like carbon member in a deformed pipe form or a bent pipe, with relative ease and a good dimensional accuracy. The process comprises the step of molding a thermosetting resin to yield a thermosetting resin molded article, the step of deforming the thermosetting resin molded article plastically in the state that the article is heated, so as to yield a thermosetting resin deformed article, and the step of carbonizing the resultant thermosetting resin deformed article.

  • Patent number: 7375482
Abstract: An object is to provide a driving device capable of smoothly shifting from a starting state to a sensor-less vector control, in a case where the device drives a motor by the sensor-less vector control, and the device includes a voltage detecting circuit which detects an induced electromotive voltage of the motor. A control circuit starts the motor by rectangular wave control. A magnetic pole position of a rotor is detected based on an induced electromotive voltage of one remaining phase of the motor detected by the voltage detecting circuit. The control circuit controls a main inverter circuit based on the detected magnetic pole position, and accelerates the motor by the rectangular wave control. In a case where a predetermined shift revolution speed is reached, the control circuit shifts to vector control by the sensor-less in which the magnetic pole position detected during the rectangular wave control is used as an initial value.

  • Publication number: 20080061653
Abstract: Included are a rotor, and a stator having a yoke section and a teeth section including multiple teeth. The teeth section and the yoke section are made of mutually independent configuration members, and connected to each other. At least one of the teeth section and the yoke section is formed by connecting each neighboring two of its multiple segments arranged one after another in a direction in which the rotor rotates. At least some neighboring teeth out of the multiple teeth are unified.

  • Patent number: 7311863
Abstract: A method for producing a glass-like carbon pipe is provided. The method comprises the steps of producing a plurality of thermosetting resin molded articles by centrifugal molding, said molded articles each having the shape of the sections of a pipe divided in the longitudinal direction and each provided with threaded or fitting portions; integrating these molded articles by joining at the threaded or fitting portions; and carbonizing the joined pipe to thereby produce a glass-like carbon pipe. This method is capable of producing a straight or bent pipe with excellent mechanical strength and gas sealability at the joint, and this method enables production of a pipe at a low cost since no machining is required for providing the threaded or fitting portions.

  • Patent number: 6460381
Abstract: A washing machine according to the present invention includes a pressure sensor provided at a rod holding plate holding a suspension rod with which an outer tub is suspended. The pressure sensor is constructed so that a coil is wound around a magnetostrictive element whose magnetic characteristic changes when it is expanded, compressed or twisted by an external force. The change in the magnetic characteristic is converted to the change in the inductance of the coil, and an oscillating signal of a frequency corresponding to the inductance generated. Based on the frequency of the signal, the load on the pressure sensor is detected. Before supplying water, the amount of the laundry contained in a wash-and-extraction tub is detected based on the output of the pressure sensor, and an object water level corresponding to the amount is determined. After that, a water supply valve is opened to start supplying water into the wash-and-extraction tub.
