Publication number: 20240071231Abstract: A human machine interface is configured to select an information display destination from among a plurality of display areas. The HCU acquires a sight line direction of a driver based on an image of an in-vehicle camera. The HCU displays, upon detecting a hop-off action of the driver based on an output signal of an in-vehicle sensor in a situation in which an attention target event such as a puddle, a step, other vehicle or the like exists on a road surface near a door of a driver's seat, in the display area corresponding to the driver's sight line direction, text or an image practically indicating (a) a content of an attention target event or (b) how to deal with a situation.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 9, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Masafumi Nohara, Taro Kobayashi, Natsuko Miyazaki, Keiji Okamoto, Asuka Sakai, Kazuhiro Matsui, Haozhou Li, Jinhae Choi

Patent number: 8260233Abstract: The IFBPF (80) can variably set a passband width (WF) and an attenuation slope (KF). The bandwidth control circuit (102), which is constituted in hardware, controls the WF in accordance with the receiving state, which is composed of a combination of the receiving electric field intensity, the modulation degree, and the intensity of the adjacent-channel interference. A microcomputer (54) controls the KF on the basis of a program stored in a nonvolatile memory (60) and finely adjusts the effective passband width. Control of the WF contradictory for prevention of audio distortion and control of adjacent-channel interference is required when high modulation and adjacent-channel interference exist in a weak electric field state, and the setting becomes difficult. In this particular case, a configuration in which the KF can be modified by a program allows an advantageous receiving state to be readily obtained.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2008Date of Patent: September 4, 2012Assignees: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Sanyo Semiconductor Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kobayashi

Patent number: 8135370Abstract: Adjacent interference is reliably detected in an FM tuner. A receiving field strength judgment circuit (102) compares a reception field strength signal SM-DC input from an S-meter circuit (92) and a reference voltage Vref2, and outputs a receiving strength judgment signal SRE. An SD band judgment circuit (104) uses a window comparator to determine, based on an f-V conversion characteristic of a detection output SDET, whether or not a voltage ?V generated based on SDET is within a voltage range corresponding to a narrow band WN, and whether or not the voltage ?V is within a voltage range corresponding to a wide band WW; and outputs determination signals SBD-N, SBD-W corresponding respectively to WN, WW. An SD circuit (106) performs a station detection based on SRE and SBD-N, and determines the presence or absence of adjacent interference based on, e.g., SBD-N and SBD-W.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2008Date of Patent: March 13, 2012Assignees: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Sanyo Semiconductor Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kobayashi

Patent number: 7885628Abstract: An FM tuner that has a multipath reception detection unit and an adjacent-channel interference detection unit while reducing expansion of the scale of the circuit is available. A control signal for a stereo separation level is generated on the basis of a signal SM-DC corresponding to a reception field strength and of a signal SMP corresponding to a multipath noise component. The SMP is extracted from a fluctuation component signal SM-AC from an S-meter circuit 92 by a multipath noise extraction circuit 104. The multipath noise extraction circuit 104 used for control of the stereo separation level is shared as a portion of the circuitry for detecting the multipath signal reception state. A multipath reception detection unit 108 compares the SMP with a threshold value to detect a multipath reception state.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2008Date of Patent: February 8, 2011Assignees: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Sanyo Semiconductor Co., Ltd.Inventor: Keiji Kobayashi

Publication number: 20090124222Abstract: Reducing the cost and size of an FM radio receiver for receiving the North American weather band is aimed. An intermediate-frequency bandpass filter (IFBPF (80)) for limiting the band of a reception signal converted to an intermediate signal is configured with a variable passband width WF. WF is varied in accordance with reception conditions. When the user selects to receive signals in the weather band, a microcomputer (54) switches the tuning frequencies and sets WF to a lower limit of a range variable by the IFBPF (80). Adjacent-channel interference can thereby be suppressed during reception in the weather band, which has a smaller channel step than do other bands. In this configuration, there is no need to externally mount an expensive crystal filter to an IC for an FM tuner.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2008Publication date: May 14, 2009Applicants: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd, Sanyo Semiconductor Co., LtdInventor: Keiji Kobayashi

Publication number: 20090054022Abstract: Adjustment work for a radio tuner system IC is reduced. A radio tuner part 30 into which is built a register 54, and an electronic tuning control part 32 into which is built a nonvolatile memory 62 for storing an operation parameter preset in the register 54, are constructed to form a single tuner system IC 20. This structure enables data for the radio tuner part 30 of the same package to be written to the nonvolatile memory 62 at a step for manufacturing the tuner system IC 20. The work of adjusting the nonvolatile memory 62 is performed in conjunction with a finished goods inspection performed after packaging of the tuner system IC. High-speed semiconductor testers are generally used to perform such inspections, and the work of adjusting the nonvolatile memory 62 can also be performed at high speed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2008Publication date: February 26, 2009Applicants: SANYO ELECTRIC CO., LTD., SANYO SEMICONDUCTOR CO., LTDInventors: Keiji Kobayashi, Fumihiro Sasaki
