  • Publication number: 20200362536
Abstract: A moving efficiency of a work machine decreases if an obstacle, an entrance prohibiting region, and the like are arranged inside a region, if a positioning precision of the work machine is relatively low, and the like. A control apparatus includes a control section to control a movement of a moving object based on at least one of a completion level of map information indicating a region where a moving object is permitted to enter and a location estimation precision of a moving object.

  • Publication number: 20200363796
Abstract: Development of a technique with which a boundary of a work region can be identified by simple means is desired. A control apparatus that controls a work machine having an autonomous travel function includes a vibration information obtaining section configured to obtain, from a vibration detection section mounted to the work machine, vibration information related to the vibration detected by the vibration detection section, and a control section configured to control at least one of a progress direction, a progress speed, a travel mode, and a work mode of the work machine based on the vibration information obtained by the vibration information obtaining section.

  • Publication number: 20200356093
Abstract: If a self-location of a moving object is estimated by utilizing an internal sensor mounted on a moving object, errors accumulate as the moving distance increases. A management apparatus which manages a moving object having an autonomous movement function includes a return information transmission section which transmits, to a moving object at a predetermined timing, return information for a moving object to return from a current location of the moving object to a return destination of the moving object.

  • Publication number: 20200347581
Abstract: A growing state of a plant is appropriately managed with a convenient method. For example, a control apparatus to control a work machine with an autonomous movement function includes an illuminance information obtaining section to obtain the illuminance information indicating at least one of (i) the illuminance of the work machine in motion and (ii) the illuminance of a region located on an advancing direction of the work machine in motion and a control section to control at least one of an advancing direction, an advancing speed, a work mode and a travel mode of the work machine based on the illuminance information obtained by the illuminance information obtaining section.

  • Patent number: 10824163
Abstract: A method and a system can generate a representation of a working area of an autonomous lawn mower. The system can include an autonomous lawn mower and a base station, and a boundary wire forming a closed loop which can be connected with the base station. The lawn mower and the base station interact such that the lawn mower can determine whether it is in its home position, a predetermined position that is taken when the mower returns to the base station. The lawn mower further includes a memory, for storing values from a movement sensor. A trajectory is generated based on the values, wherein a processor is configured to calculate an error between the position and orientation according to the trajectory and the home position. This total position error and total orientation error is then used to correct the position and corresponding orientations of the trajectory.
