  • Publication number: 20030140710
Abstract: The present invention is formed by detecting the charged particles generated during film peeling and fragility breaking, so that it is possible to specify a peel occurring time and a fragility breaking time, with a high sensitivity and a high accuracy. In this way, it becomes possible to correctly measure the peel strength and the fragility breaking strength. The method of the invention comprises the steps of pressing an indenter into a test object and measuring an indentation load as well as an indentation depth, while at the same time detecting charged particles omitted from a peel starting point or a breakage starting point; specifying a peel occurring time and a fragility breaking time when charged particles are increased; measuring a peel strength and/or a fragility breaking strength.

  • Patent number: 6059881
Abstract: A coater blade and backing roll combination contains a coater blade having an elastic steel blade with a wear-resistant coating formed thereon. The wear-resistant coating has a hardness greater than that of the elastic steel blade and is provided on an edge of the blade to define a coater surface for contacting with a moving surface of coated paper on the backing roll. The backing roll has a concave outer surface having a curvature corresponding to a quadratic equation and the coater surface has a concave curvature corresponding to the quadratic equation.

  • Patent number: 5564196
Abstract: A roll used for tensioning a canvas belt used to hold paper against a dryer. The roll includes a main cylindrical body formed of steel. A layer formed of a metal harder than steel is disposed over the outer surface of the main body. The metal layer is formed with a channel around its center so as to define two spaced roll end sections of a common diameter. A fluororesin layer is disposed in the metal layer channel and is shaped so as to have an outer surface of a diameter equal to that of the metal layer end sections.

  • Patent number: 5139311
Abstract: An automotive seat having a seat belt buckle holder is disclosed, which includes a seatback part having a pad covered with an outer skin member, and a seat belt assembly having a belt equipped with a buckle. The pad is partially cut away to form a rectangular recess which is so sized as to accommodate the buckle. The outer skin member is cut in L-shape for providing the outer skin member with an openable part. The openable part is detachably fastened, by means of a fastener, to the pad.

  • Patent number: 4633305
Abstract: A method of magnetically recording photographic pictures into a magnetic disc contained in a magnetic disc pack. According to this method of recording image signals of the photographic pictures, the photographic pictures formed on a roll-shaped print are successively taken by a video camera before being cut from one frame to another, and the image signals of the photographic pictures are magnetically recorded into a magnetic disc. In consequence, the flow of the existing photographic processing laboratory system is not impaired. Further, photographed subjects of the video camera are not separated from one another, so that the photographed subjects can be processed easily at the time of video taking.
