  • Patent number: 9151933
Abstract: Enabling an ordinary image-capturing apparatus to achieve all-around image-capturing without having a user to perform particularly difficult setting operation. There is provided an image-capturing apparatus including, an image-capturing unit capable of detachably attaching an adapter having an all-around image-capturing optical system for capturing an image of a subject all around the image-capturing apparatus, and having an image-capturing optical system being for capturing a subject in one direction, and an image-capturing device for capturing a subject image incident from the image-capturing optical system, an attachment detection unit for detecting whether or not the adapter is attached to the image-capturing unit, and a control unit for controlling settings of the image-capturing apparatus in accordance with a characteristic of the all-around image-capturing optical system when the adapter is attached to the image-capturing unit.

  • Patent number: 8063533
Abstract: An electronic device having a piezoelectric pump. The electronic device includes: an audio input section; an audio recording section recording input sound from the audio input section; a piezoelectric pump cooling air by a piezoelectric element; a drive circuit driving the piezoelectric element; and a control circuit monitoring and controlling operation of the audio input section, the audio recording section, and the drive circuit, wherein when an operation mode being monitored is an audio recording mode, in which the input sound is used for recording by the audio recording section, the control circuit controls the drive circuit to decrease the amount of air flow exhausted outside from the piezoelectric pump, and when the operation mode being monitored is another mode without audio recording, the control circuit maintains the amount of the air flow.

  • Patent number: 6961591
Abstract: A handheld telephone set used by connecting a dual-ear mount type or single-ear mount type earphone that automatically sets an optimal signal level of an ambient sound according to the earphone type used, provided with: a telephone set main body unit, a detection device for detecting which type of earphone is mounted to the telephone set main body unit, an amplifier for amplifying the ambient sound to be delivered to the earphone, and a control device for controlling a signal level of the ambient sound output from the amplifier according to an output of the detection device. When either of these earphones is mounted, the control device controls the signal level of the ambient sound output from the amplifier to be fed back according to an output of the detection device.
