  • Patent number: 8882203
Abstract: An engaging member for attaching an upholstery material to a cushion member, which has a positioning member at least one lengthwise terminal end. The positioning member places the starting end of loop engaging element portion in precise position in the groove of the cushion member. The engaging member is long and flexible and bends in conformity with the complicated shape of the curved groove. The method of producing an upholstered cushion molding using the engaging member improves the working efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20130133176
Abstract: Disclosed is a surface fastener with a plurality of male engaging elements installed on the surface of a plastic substrate. Specifically disclosed is a molded surface fastener wherein the male engaging elements have a stem that rises from the plastic substrate and protrusions for engaging that protrude from the stem to the side. The ratio (D/H) between the height (H) of the engaging elements from the substrate and the length (D) from the peak of the engaging elements to the lower end section of the protrusions is 0.35-0.75 and the rate of substrate coverage by the engaging elements is 25%-45%. The disclosed male molded surface fastener is an improvement on surface fasteners, particularly male molded surface fasteners, that engage when simply overlapped which makes positioning extremely difficult. The disclosed male molded surface fastener almost never engages when positioning and has a high engaging force after final fastening.

  • Patent number: 5651747
Abstract: A series of geared motors in which change gear ratios of 1/2-1/100 or a wider range of change gear ratios are realized in the single series based on the unified design concepts of low noise, high rigidity and high durability, and in which the separation, exchange, etc. of the individual speed change gears and motors proper of the geared motors are facilitated. In the series, a speed change mechanism in each of the geared motors constituting a group of "high" change gear ratios comprises a single-stage type planetary gear mechanism of oscillating inner gearing system, a group of "medium" change gear ratios comprises a single-stage type simple planetary gear mechanism, and a group of "low" change gear ratios comprises a modified simple planetary gear mechanism including a sun gear (302 in FIG. 1), a first planet gear (304A), a second planet gear (304B) which rotates unitarily with the first planet gear (304A) and which has a larger number of teeth than the first planet gear (304A), and an internal gear (306).
