    Abstract: A method is provided to compute the probable body speed of a vehicle equipped with a mini tire as a spare tire, specifically when the mini tire is mounted. The wheel speeds of the four wheels are measured, and if the speed does not satisfy the predetermined formula relating to the wheel base and tread of the vehicle to a wheel speed, then a probable vehicle body speed is derived by the normal method. The speed thus derived is corrected by the diameter of the mini tire to compute a new probable vehicle body speed.

    Abstract: There is provided an ethylenically unsaturated lower carboxylic acid metal salt-containing rubber composition having good mold releasability.This rubber composition is composed of preferably 5 to 100 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated lower carboxylic acid salt preferably and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a higher fatty acid metal salt compounded with 100 parts by weight of rubber. Preferably 20 parts by weight or less of zinc oxide may further be compounded thereinto.Compared with conventional vulcanizates prepared using a mold coated with a mold release agent and vulcanizates prepared from a rubber composition to which silicone oil or the like was added, vulcanizates from the present rubber composition are ones wherein lowering of characteristics such as strength due to inclusion of these compounds is small and which have improved mold releasability.

    Abstract: An air conditioner with a radiant temperature control comprises a refrigeration cycle for air-conditioning a room to be air conditioned at a desired temperature, a temperature setting section for generating set data for setting the desired temperature as a target value, a first temperature sensor section for detecting a room temperature of the room to be air-conditioned, a second temperature sensor section for detecting a radiant temperature of the room to be air-conditioned, a control section for receiving the set data from the temperature setting section and detection data from the first temperature sensor section and for generating an operation control signal to the refrigeration cycle in accordance with the difference therebetween, and a correcting section for receiving the set data from the temperature setting section and detection data from the second temperature sensor section and, when the difference therebetween deviates from a predetermined value, correcting the set data from the temperature setting
