  • Patent number: 9318943
Abstract: In a linear motor, one of a field system and an armature is configured as a mover and the other is configured as a stator. The field system relatively moves with respect to the armature. The field system includes two yoke boards which are arranged facing each other, a yoke base to which one side ends of the two yoke boards are to be fixed, a plurality of permanent magnets respectively fixed to facing surfaces of the two yoke boards and arranged along a moving direction of the mover, and an elastic member configured to apply force the facing surfaces of the two yoke boards in directions that other side ends of the two yoke boards move away from each other.
