  • Patent number: 9156332
Abstract: A vehicular heating control system, method, and program acquire an operation value that is a setting by an occupant and, when there is no manual operation, acquire a fuel consumption reduction amount and a fuel consumption amount and, when the fuel consumption reduction amount exceeds the fuel consumption amount and an improvement in fuel economy is expected, execute seat heater control, that is, heating by an electrothermal heater, decrease the wind force of a blower fan, and lower an engine startup threshold value. Heating by an air conditioning system and heating by the electrothermal heater are combined, so a heating effect is obtained while reducing the fuel consumption amount.

  • Publication number: 20140034266
Abstract: A control part outputs a signal demanding an engine start when it is determined that a temperature of cooling water detected by a water temperature detector is lower than a threshold. In a normal state where conditioned-air is blown off to a predetermined seat and the other seats, the control part lowers the threshold according to an increase in a heat amount emitted from an auxiliary heating element based on the operating state of the auxiliary heating element. When a predetermined seat air conditioning command is provided to air-condition the predetermined seat, as a control of a predetermined seat state, the control part controls an opening-and-closing part to close an air outlet and further lowers the threshold rather than the threshold controlled in the normal state.

  • Patent number: 7164363
Abstract: A user-friendly article identifying device capable of retaining voice data associated with a tag. The device contains a tag reading section; a voice data input section; a storage section; a determining section; a voice data replay section; and a controller for governing all the sections above. First, the tag reading section reads a tag having a specific identifier, and then the voice data input section accepts voice data. Storage section, which contains a voice data table, a tag/address table, and a memo data table, stores voice data from the input section so as to associate with the specific identifier of a tag. The determining section judges whether the tag identifier read by tag reading section is retained in the storage section. Voice data replay section replays the voice data associated with the identifier according to the judgment by the determining section.

  • Publication number: 20040051430
Abstract: An electromagnetic-wave marker includes a bar-like receiving antenna for receiving an electromagnetic wave, a frequency converting circuit coupled to the receiving antenna and for multiplying a frequency of the electromagnetic wave, a disc-like transmitting antenna for transmitting an electromagnetic wave of which frequency is multiplied by the frequency converting circuit, a nonmagnetic container for accommodating and placing the receiving antenna and the transmitting antenna such that the received electromagnetic wave and the transmitting electromagnetic wave intersect with each other at right angles, and an electromagnetic-wave reflector placed at a lower portion of the nonmagnetic container and for reflecting the electromagnetic wave along the transmitted direction. The marker is improved its anti-corrosion property, and at the same time, reduces its thickness, so that the marker can be laid down in various structures of roads such as an iron bridge.

  • Patent number: 6518884
Abstract: An electric resonance element includes an electric resonator comprising a coil wound around magnetic materials and a capacitor. The electric resonance element is housed in a vessel made of non-magnetic materials. A detection apparatus for detecting the electric resonance element comprises a transmitter for transmitting an electromagnetic wave and a receiver for detecting the echo wave transmitted from the electric resonance element. A moving vehicle is controlled using a system which comprises the electric resonance element buried in a road, and the detection apparatus installed on a vehicle for detecting echo waves transmitted from electric resonance elements. The detection apparatus comprises a transmitter for transmitting an electromagnetic wave specific to the electric resonance element, a receiver that detects the echo wave, and a element or a circuit to suspend the operation of the receiver while the transmitter is on duty.

  • Patent number: 6097312
Abstract: While transmitting an electromagnetic wave from a transmitting antenna to, for example, a magnetostrictive resonator, buried in a road, a reception section composed of a reception amplifier and signal processor is inactivated. After stopping transmission of the electromagnetic wave, the reception section is activated and a receiving antenna detects an electromagnetic wave radiated by the magnetostrictive resonator. In this method, a magnetostrictive resonator detection apparatus having a sufficient directivity and detection distance can be presented. The magnetostrictive resonator detection apparatus applying this detecting method is mounted aboard a vehicle, and a plurality of magnetostrictive resonators are buried in the road. By sequentially transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves at different resonance frequencies thereof, and judging the configuration of the road and the vehicle, a safe traffic system is presented.
