The acquisition module acquires a first file having a first file name. The change module changes the first file name to a second file name. The association storage module stores the file names. The receiver receives a selection of the first file name. The creator creates a second file assigned the first file name. The call module calls an application capable of editing the second file. The determination module determines whether the name of the second file can be changed. When the file name can be changed, the file determination module determines whether a difference exists between the first and second files. When a difference exists, the output module outputs the second file.
