  • Patent number: 11715229
Abstract: A moving body includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to collect an external image of the moving body from an external sensor and collect information associated with an inner state of the moving body from an internal sensor. The processing circuitry is configured to determine whether or not to adopt the external image collected by the external sensor as a first image for estimating a position of the moving body, based on the information associated with the inner state of the moving body collected by the internal sensor. The processing circuitry is configured to estimate a position of the moving body by comparing the first image and a second image associated with a collection position of the first image.

  • Patent number: 11680279
Abstract: A method for producing an objective substance such as vanillin and vanillic acid is provided. An objective substance is produced from a carbon source or a precursor of the objective substance by using a microorganism that is able to produce the objective substance, which microorganism has been modified so that the activity of an enzyme involved in SAM cycle (SAM cycle enzyme) is increased.

  • Publication number: 20220033216
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an autonomous mobile robot includes a communication device, a memory, and a hardware processor connected to the communication device and the memory. The communication device receives list information indicating ride conditions of a car from the elevator control system when transmitting a car call message to an elevator control system on a hall of any floor. The hardware processor includes a ride determination unit and a movement control unit. The ride determination unit determines whether the robot is able to ride in the car or not, based on the list information when the car arrives. The movement control unit allows the robot to ride in the car and move to a destination floor when the robot is able to ride.

  • Patent number: 9487806
Abstract: A method for producing of an L-amino acid is provided. An L-amino acid is produced by culturing a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae and having an L-amino acid-producing ability, which has been modified so that the acpP-fabF operon is attenuated, in a medium, and collecting the L-amino acid from the medium or cells of the bacterium.

  • Patent number: 8722370
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing L-amino acids, such as L-arginine, L-citrulline, and L-lysine, using a bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, particularly a bacterium belonging to the genus Escherichia or Pantoea, which has been modified to attenuate expression of one or more genes, such as the pepA, pepB, and pepD genes.
