The information processing apparatus changes an image reading setting included in a profile identified based on the transmitted identification information of the image forming apparatus to the transmitted image reading setting, and transmits an image reading instruction based on the changed profile to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus receives the image reading instruction from the information processing apparatus, and reads the image to generate image data.

The image forming apparatus creates and transmits a URL which is required to access a Web server included in the self apparatus and is uniquely assigned to the print job, to the external apparatus which transmitted the print job. After that, when an access to the URL is generated, the image forming apparatus starts printing the temporarily stored print job.
