  • Publication number: 20130086959
Abstract: In a drawing method of a metallic tube which includes: filling a high-pressure container with a lubricating oil, the container having a mother tube inserted thereinto; pressurizing the oil with a pressure booster; and drawing the forcedly lubricated mother tube, the oil having a kinetic viscosity of 100 to 2000 mm2/s at 40° C. and at normal pressure and a viscosity pressure coefficient of 15 to 24 GPa?1 at 40° C. is used for preventing seizing and vibrations in drawing and for suppressing the deterioration of surface roughness due to oil pits in tube. Herein, the oil preferably contains one or more of extreme-pressure (EP) additives in a total amount of 10 mass % or more, being selected from a sulfur-based additive, a chlorine-based additive, an organic calcium metallic salt, a phosphorus-based additive, an organic zinc-based additive, and an organic molybdenum-based additive, each having a prescribed amount of relevant element.

  • Patent number: 8327676
Abstract: When a hollow billet is inserted into a container, and hot expanding piercing is downwardly performed by using a plug, hot piercing is performed by using a formed glass complex comprising a ring-shaped formed glass part and a ring-shaped projecting part. The ring-shaped formed glass part assumes a disc shape having a circular opening for allowing a plug to be inserted at the center thereof. The ring-shaped projecting part is attached to the opening of the ring-shaped formed glass part, and assumes a ring shape projecting perpendicularly to the ring-shaped formed glass part. Thereby, the piercing work can be done safely, and defects can be prevented from occurring on the inner surface of the billet.

  • Publication number: 20120263967
Abstract: A blank tube for cold drawing is used for the production of a longer-length, small-diameter tube such as a heat-transfer tube for steam generation in nuclear power facilities, wherein the blank tube will not cause scoring and chattering vibration in a drawing process. The blank tube is used to produce a cold drawn tube through cold drawing of the blank tube. The average surface roughness Ra (ANSI B46.1) of the inner surface of blank tube before drawing satisfies the condition: 0.10 ?m?Ra?1.00 ?m in the case of a blank tube for cold drawing for use in an oil-lubricated drawing. In particular, the surface roughness Ra satisfies the condition: 0.10 ?m?Ra?0.50 ?m in the case of a blank tube for use in a high-pressure lubrication drawing and made of an austenitic alloy for use in a heat-transfer tube for a steam generator.

  • Publication number: 20090290064
Abstract: AV content is input and output in an AV system. In the AV system, a plurality of AV devices process a signal of the content to reproduce the content. A source device broadcasts the content to each of the AV devices. In each of the AV devices, a reproduction unit receives the content broadcast by the source device and performs reproduction processing on the received content. A communication unit communicates reproduction processing time information with another AV device, the reproduction processing time information indicating a time required for the reproduction processing of the content. A delay unit delays a time to reproduce the content, such that the delay unit delays reproduction of the content in accordance with an AV device having a latest reproduction timing based on the reproduction processing time information.

  • Patent number: 7272089
Abstract: Prior to a main record, a trial write of data in an optical disc is performed in accordance with the characteristics between a record velocity and an optimum record power (Steps S2 to S4). The quality of a signal reproduced from the trial-written data is measured (Step S5). It is judged from the measured quality of the reproduced signal whether the predetermined velocity is a recordable velocity satisfying the characteristics between the record velocity and the optimum record power (Step 5). The main record is executed in accordance with the judgment result.
