  • Publication number: 20150153751
Abstract: A power supply circuit converts an input electric power into a target voltage and outputs the target voltage is equipped with a power semiconductor element that is connected between an input and an output, a drive circuit that adjusts operation of the power semiconductor element on the basis of a result of a comparison between an output voltage of the power supply circuit and a threshold voltage based on a first reference voltage, and a first monitoring circuit that compares the output voltage with a normal range based on a second reference voltage and outputs a first signal when the output voltage is deviant from the normal range. In addition, the first reference voltage and the second reference voltage are generated in different reference voltage generation circuits.

  • Patent number: 8994437
Abstract: A semiconductor device outputs a signal to control a gate potential a switching device. The semiconductor device includes a first signal output terminal, and is capable of receiving or internally creating a reference signal, which varies between a first potential and a second potential. The semiconductor device can switch between first and second operations. The first operation outputs to the first signal output terminal a signal that is at a third potential when the reference signal is at the first potential, and that is at a fourth potential higher than the third potential when the reference signal is at the second potential. The second operation outputs to the first signal output terminal a signal that is at the fourth potential when the reference signal is at the first potential, and that is at the third potential when the reference signal is at the second potential.

  • Publication number: 20140320162
Abstract: A wiring state detection device is configured to detect a state of a wiring that detachably and electrically connects a drive unit and a control unit via a connector. The drive unit has a switching element. The control unit is configured to perform drive control of the switching element. The wiring state detection device includes a phase delay detection unit and a connection state determination unit. The phase delay detection unit is configured to detect a phase delay of the drive of the switching element with respect to a command signal that the control unit supplies toward the switching element of the drive unit. The connection state determination unit is configured to determine whether or not a connection state of the connector or the wiring is normal based on whether or not the phase delay detected by the phase delay detection unit is less than a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20140129091
Abstract: A parking assist device assists entry or exit of a vehicle with respect to a parking space through an automatic control of a steering device. The parking assist device includes: a calculator that obtains, to perform the automatic control of the steering device, a path for allowing the vehicle to enter or exit the parking space based on the parking space, calculates an amount of temperature rise of the steering device at the execution of the automatic control for allowing the vehicle to move along the obtained path, and calculates a predicted temperature of the steering device at the execution of the automatic control by adding the calculated amount of temperature rise to a current value of the temperature of the steering device; and a controller that inhibits the execution of the automatic control when the predicted temperature is equal to or higher than a determination value.
