    Abstract: A driving tool includes a main body, a main chamber storing compressed air, a striking cylinder moving a striking piston in an axial direction, a main valve portion configured to control supply of the compressed air to the striking cylinder, a trigger valve portion actuating the main valve portion, a trigger portion actuating the trigger valve portion, and a contact portion movable in a driving direction of the striking piston. The contact portion includes a contact top to be pressed against a driven member and a contact arm. The trigger valve portion includes a pilot valve and a trigger valve stem. The trigger portion includes a trigger lever and a contact lever portion engageable with the contact arm and the trigger valve stem. A position limiting surface in the main body limits movement of the contact lever portion.
