  • Patent number: 6174264
Abstract: A control for a marine propulsion unit including a water propulsion device powered by an engine through a transmission. The transmission has forward, neutral and reverse positions. The engine has at least one combustion chamber, an air and fuel supply system, and at least one ignition element corresponding to the combustion chamber for igniting an air and fuel mixture supplied to the combustion chamber. The control is arranged to delay the firing of the ignition element when the engine is idling from a normal firing timing, and arranged to advance the firing of the ignition element if the engine speed rapidly reduces and the position of the transmission is changed from neutral to reverse or forward.

  • Patent number: 5937760
Abstract: A mounting device of a lithoplate, having a head clamp and a tail clamp of a lithoplate provided at a cutout portion of a plate cylinder, includes a register pin fixed to a lower blade of the head such that it penetrates through and projects from an upper blade of the head clamp. A clamp provided to the mounting device of a lithoplate includes a clamp having a register pin at an upper surface of an upper blade of the clamp and a roller which can freely rotate is provided at the position of a plate cylinder side opposed to the register pin. The mounting device of a lithoplate also includes a device for covering at least a part of a lithoplate holding tail edge at a region between a tip of a vise at a tail side and a plate cylinder to which no pressure is applied.

  • Patent number: 5774363
Abstract: In a page arrangement order determination method, when a plurality of pages are to be arranged on a common surface for printing purposes, the order of arrangement of the plurality of pages on the common surface is determined based on only the order of folding of printed paper and a position of a front page. A cutting step required for a work-and-tumble operation and a repeat operation can be effected between a printing step and a bookbinding step, and when one of the work-and-tumble operation and the repeat operation is to be effected, the page arrangement order is determined only by additionally designating the one of the two operations.

  • Patent number: 5202218
Abstract: The present invention provides a lithographic printing plate material for silver complex diffusion transfer process by scanning type exposure which comprises a film support and, provided thereon, at least a silver halide emulsion layer and a surface physical development nuclei layer, wherein water content in the whole lithographic printing plate material including the support is 1.5% or less. Preferably, the silver halide emulsion comprises about 95 mol % or more of silver chloride, 90% by weight or more of the silver halide grains have a size within .+-.40% of average grain size, the silver halide grains have an average grain size of about 0.3.mu.-about 1.0.mu., and the surface of the grains is replaced with about 0.1 mol %-about 3.0 mol % of an iodide per 1 mol of the silver halide.

  • Patent number: 4710455
Abstract: Disclosed is silver halide cubic crystal having a depression on each face thereof and/or a hollow portion formed by joining of the depression with other depressions. This crystal may be produced by precipitating first monodisperse cubic type silver halide crystals and then precipitating second silver halide having a lower solubility than the first silver halide crystals by controlled doublejet precipitation method to dissolve the first silver halide crystals. There are also disclosed a silver halide photographic emulsion comprising such silver halide crystal and a silver halide photographic high-sensitive material containing said silver halide to which a spectral sensitizing dye is adsorbed.
