  • Patent number: 10726756
Abstract: The display device includes a display panel, gate line driving circuitry that includes gate drivers provided for each of gate lines, a control circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The control circuit supplies a control signal to at least one gate driver corresponding to a gate line to be scanned first in a unit period in which the gate lines are scanned. The gate driver which received the control signal is driven on the basis of the control signal, and the gate drivers in subsequent stages are each driven on the basis of a scanning signal of the gate driver in a preceding stage. The signal processing circuit outputs, on the basis of a scanning signal of at least one gate driver corresponding to a gate line to be scanned last in the unit period and the control signal, a detection signal that indicates whether the gate driver is normal.

  • Publication number: 20200153350
Abstract: In the power supply device, the insulated transformer transforms the voltage of alternating-current power. The rectifying circuit rectifies the alternating-current power transformed by the transformer to direct-current power. The smoothing inductor smoothes the direct-current power rectified by the rectifying circuit. The first output terminal outputs the direct-current power smoothed by the smoothing inductor. The second output terminal is a terminal different from the first output terminal and outputs the direct-current power smoothed by the smoothing inductor. An FET is provided between the smoothing inductor and the first output terminal and adjusts a current output from the smoothing inductor to the first output terminal. An FET is provided between the smoothing inductor and the second output terminal and adjusts a current output from the smoothing inductor to the second output terminal. The controller controls the FET and the FET.

  • Publication number: 20190378470
Abstract: A power supply circuit includes a voltage boosting circuit for boosting a supplied first power supply voltage to a second power supply voltage used in a drive circuit of a display device, a capacitor provided between a power supply wiring for outputting the second power supply voltage and a ground, a logic circuit for outputting a high-level signal when the first power supply voltage and a supplied first control signal are at a high level, a delay circuit for outputting a signal obtained by delaying an output signal of the logic circuit as a second control signal used for an operation control of the drive circuit, and a resistor provided between an input terminal of the delay circuit and the ground. The power supply circuit may include a first diode on the power supply wiring, or may include a second diode having an anode terminal connected to an output terminal of the second control signal and a cathode terminal connected to the input terminal of the delay circuit.

  • Patent number: 10447163
Abstract: In a DC/DC converter, when stepping up voltage from an input unit to an output unit or when stepping down voltage from the output unit to the input unit, a second driver IC outputs to a charge pump circuit a control signal for controlling a switching element so as to alternately repeat ON/OFF when a switching element is ON and a switching element is OFF. When stepping up voltage from the output unit to the input unit or when stepping down voltage from the input unit to the output unit, a first driver IC outputs to the charge pump circuit a control signal for controlling the switching element so as to alternately repeat ON/OFF when a switching element is ON and the switching element is OFF. As a result, the DC/DC converter can drive the charge pump circuit without providing an oscillation circuit.

  • Patent number: 6167010
Abstract: In a disk reproduction apparatus, data recorded on a disk is read and converted into an electrical signal by a pickup, thereby generating a tracking error signal. The tracking error signal is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter. The digital signal is converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter via a tracking digital equalizer. This analog signal drives a driver. An output from the driver drives the actuator of the pickup. The tracking digital equalizer selects the first mode of preferentially increasing the resolution of output data from the tracking servo circuit or the second mode of preferentially preventing an overflow of the output data. The equalizer processes the digital data from the A/D converter. An analog gain switching circuit is connected between the tracking digital equalizer and the driver to switch between the different gains set in accordance with the mode selected by the tracking digital equalizer.
