  • Publication number: 20210387362
Abstract: A gas pressure detection device 10 detects a decrease in a pressure of gas of a gas balancer 8 of a robot 2. The gas pressure detection device 10 includes a calculating part configured to calculate a parameter Rt(?) indicating a magnitude relation between a reference pressure Pa(?) at a rotational angle ? of a rotary arm 14 and a measured pressure Pt(?) measured at the rotational angle ?, calculate a plurality of parameters Rt(?) based on a plurality of measured pressures Pt(?) at different measurement times, and calculate a moving average Rtj(?) of the parameter Rt(?) at a measurement time tj that is a j-th measurement time of the measured pressure Pt(?) (j representing a natural number of 2 or above), and a determining part configured to compare the moving average Rtj(?) with a reference value R to detect the decrease in the pressure of the gas.

  • Publication number: 20200121890
Abstract: A catheter includes a hollow shaft, a mesh member, a front end tip, and a core wire. The mesh member has a tubular shape, has a base end joined to a front end of the hollow shaft, and is configured to expand and contract in a radial direction. The front end tip is joined to a front end of the mesh member. The core wire has a front end portion joined to the front end tip and extends inside the mesh member and inside the hollow shaft. A base end of the core wire is located on a base end side of the catheter relative to a base end of the hollow shaft. The front end portion of the core wire is formed with one or more holes, and a portion of the front end tip is disposed inside at least a portion of the one or more holes.

  • Publication number: 20200046388
Abstract: A catheter including a mesh member having a tubular shape and being radially expandable and contractable, a first hollow shaft, and a distal end tip. The mesh member has a first twisted wire including a plurality of wires that is braided with a second twisted wire including a plurality of wires. Part of the plurality of wires of the first twisted wire is joined to part of the plurality of wires of the second twisted wire in joining regions at crossover portions between the first twisted wire and the second twisted wire.

  • Publication number: 20180140804
Abstract: A balloon catheter includes a balloon. The balloon allows restraint-free arrangement of an irregular region on the balloon for quickly inserting the balloon into a stenosis or stricture or an obstructed part while the balloon is in a contracted state, and allows for securely fixing the balloon within the stenosis or stricture or the obstructed part while the balloon is in an expanded state. The balloon can be easily produced, and can be folded without restraint (without requiring differentiation between the irregular region and the rest of the balloon). The balloon includes a base portion having an irregular region on its surface, and a coating agent coating the surface of the base portion. When the balloon is not expanded, the surface of the balloon is smooth and flat; and while the balloon is in an expanded state, the surface of the balloon is irregular.

  • Publication number: 20090242645
Abstract: This invention provides a non-contact type IC card that can prevent electrostatic discharge failure of an IC chip caused by static electricity generated in a metal reflective layer. In a non-contact type IC card, an inlet sheet on which an antenna and an IC chip connected to the antenna are mounted is embedded in a card base member and a metal reflective layer (which corresponds to a hologram-magnetic recording layer) is laminated on the surface of the card base member. The non-contact type IC card includes conductive members that are embedded in the card base member. The conductive members attract static electricity generated in the metal reflective layer, and discharge the static electricity from a second surface of the card base member (the surface of the card) opposite to a first surface of the card base member (the back surface of the card) on which the metal reflective layer is laminated.

  • Patent number: 4485650
Abstract: First, an equation expressing the relationships among the equivalent of the subsurface residual stress at a given point of material strip before entering a spiral-pipe forming machine, the equivalent of the subsurface residual stress at the corresponding point of formed pipe, the dimensions of the material strip, the outside diameter of the pipe, and the normalized magnitude of ring opening in the pipe is established using their measured values. Then, the equivalents of the subsurface residual stresses are measured while the pipe is being manufactured, and the normalized magnitude of the ring opening in the pipe is indirectly determined from the above equation using the measured equivalents.
