  • Patent number: 10087877
Abstract: The compression self-ignition engine fuel injection control device is configured to, during one combustion stroke, perform multiple fuel injections to induce multiple combustions in a cylinder. The fuel injection control device comprises a PCM (70) configured to set an interval between a pre-injection and a main injection in the multiple fuel injections, so as to allow valley regions of a curve indicative of a frequency characteristic of a combustion pressure wave generated by the multiple combustions to fall within respective ranges of a plurality of resonant frequency bands of a structure of an engine body of the engine, wherein the PCM is operable to increase a fuel injection amount of the pre-injection more largely as an engine load becomes lower at the same engine speed.

  • Patent number: 8975993
Abstract: A transformer that improves the DC superposition characteristic without incurring eddy-current losses. In the transformer, a part of a plate-like core opposing a top face of a flange of a drum core is formed with a first opposing portion opposing none of input and output terminals and a second opposing portion opposing the input and output terminals. A first gap is formed between the top face and the first opposing portion by a spacer. A second gap greater than the first gap is formed by a recess of the plate-like core provided so as to correspond to the second opposing portion. This allows magnetic fluxes to pass between the top face and the first opposing portion where the gap is formed and inhibits them from passing between the plate-like core and the input and output terminals where the second gap greater than the first gap is formed.

  • Patent number: 8607783
Abstract: A drug ejecting apparatus has an ejection port and an element which generates energy for ejecting a drug from the ejection port; a drug containing unit is connected to the drug ejection apparatus, and contains the drug; a movable wall is attached to an end of the drug containing unit, and is displaced by difference between pressures inside and outside of the drug containing unit; and a control unit displaces the movable wall. The drug ejection apparatus is filled with the drug, and the inside pressure of the drug containing unit is put in a negative pressure state in advance of ejecting of the drug, by displacing the movable wall by means of the control unit.

  • Patent number: 8333188
Abstract: A medicine ejection apparatus which ejects a medicine for medicating a user has a medicine ejecting unit, which has an element that generates energy for ejecting the medicine, a drive control unit which controls a drive start and a drive stop of the element, and an ejection amount determining unit, which determines a total amount of a medicine that is ejected from the medicine ejecting unit after the element performs a drive stop. The drive control unit enables the element to perform driving to eject an amount of medicine calculated from a difference between a set ejection amount and the total amount of medicine that has actually been ejected, when the total amount ejected, as determined by the ejection amount determining unit, is less than the set ejection amount.
