  • Publication number: 20210008909
Abstract: A cartridge includes: a cartridge case; a first supply portion including a heat-sensitive medium; and a second supply portion including an adhesive medium. The heat-sensitive medium includes a base material, a plurality of heat-sensitive layers, and at least one heat-insulating layer in a stacked state. The heat-sensitive layers include: a first heat-sensitive layer for producing a first color when heated above a first temperature; and a second heat-sensitive layer for producing a second color when heated above a second temperature higher than. the first temperature. The cartridge case includes: an opening for exposing the heat-sensitive medium; and a guide part positioned downstream of the opening in a conveying direction of the heat-sensitive medium for guiding the heat-sensitive medium and the adhesive medium bonded to a surface of the heat-sensitive medium opposite the base material with respect to the plurality of heat-sensitive layers.

  • Patent number: 10675878
Abstract: A cartridge unit for a printer including a cartridge and a circuit assembly. The circuit assembly includes a base member and a circuit substrate having a memory module and a plurality of second electrical contacts. In a cartridge attached state, the circuit assembly is configured to be in a circuit assembly attached state where the circuit assembly is arranged between the plurality of first electrical contacts of the printer and the particular cartridge side wall, the plurality of first electrical contacts electrically contacting the plurality of second electrical contacts, respectively. In a circuit assembly unattached state, the circuit assembly is not arranged between the plurality of first electrical contacts and the particular cartridge side wall. A thickness of the circuit assembly is larger than a distance between the plurality of first electrical contacts and the particular cartridge side wall in the cartridge attached and the circuit assembly unattached state.

  • Patent number: 10668750
Abstract: A tape cartridge includes a casing, a tape roll, and a ribbon roll. The casing has a tape outlet. The tape roll is formed by winding a fabric tape. The ribbon roll is formed by winding an ink ribbon. The tape outlet is formed at a most downstream end of a tape conveying path of the fabric tape paid out from the tape roll. The fabric tape is discharged through the tape outlet outside. The fabric tape includes a heat cutter processed parts, and a printing part. The heat cutter processed parts are positioned at each end portion in a widthwise direction of the fabric tape. The printing part is positioned between the heat cutter processed parts. The fabric tape is in contact with an outer circumferential part of the ribbon roll on a way of conveying the fabric tape along the tape conveying path to the tape outlet.

  • Patent number: 9266349
Abstract: When a color development heat pulse set for each one dot of an intended image is applied to a coloring heat element associated with the one dot of the intended image in a thermal head, an auxiliary heat pulse set for development of the intended image at a thermosensitive medium is applied to a non-printing heat element that adjoins to the coloring heat element associated with the one dot of the intended image with reference to a scanning direction of the thermal head, the auxiliary heat pulse being not so hot for color development at the color thermo sensitive medium.

  • Patent number: 9240710
Abstract: A vibration-powered generator (100) has a vibrating element (10) and a coil (40) arranged therearound, and is configured to obtain electromotive force by moving the vibrating element (10) relatively to the coil (40). The vibrating element (10) has a plurality of magnets (20a to 20d) arranged so as to oppose the pole-faces of the same polarity; end supporting portions (12, 13) which support the plurality of magnets from both ends in the direction of arrangement; and a cushioning (16). The cushioning (16) is held between the end supporting portion (12) and the magnet (20c), while being compressed under a stress exceeding the repelling force between the pole-faces of the magnets, so as to keep the magnets (20a to 20d) in a row without leaving a gap in between, overcoming the repelling force.
