  • Patent number: 8395339
Abstract: A motor control device that has a high-frequency component, and a DC bias component that has a magnitude which causes a motor to be magnetically saturated and take on a certain value over a predetermined period, and is positively and negatively symmetrical are impressed as an observation command on a d-axis current command. The polarity of the magnetic pole of a permanent magnet is identified based on a relationship of large and small magnitudes between a first amplitude, which is attained during a period during which a DC bias component takes on a positive certain value, among amplitudes of a high-frequency component contained in a d-axis response voltage computed based on a feedback current respondent to the observation command, and a second amplitude attained during a period during which the DC bias component takes on a negative certain value.

  • Patent number: 8370103
Abstract: A moving context and a moving time of a user are specified by acceleration information while the user is moving. The moving context represents the user's moving status. The acceleration information is measured by an acceleration sensor carried with the user. The moving context and the moving time are stored in time series. The moving context and the moving time between a moving start time and an arrival time are set as a moving pattern. A tag is set to the moving context in the moving pattern. The tag identifies a function to be executed for the moving context. A moving estimation pattern is generated as the moving pattern having the moving context and the moving time specified by acceleration information measured when the user is newly moving. The function identified by the tag is executed, when the moving context set with the tag in the moving estimation pattern coincides with a moving context specified by acceleration information measured while the user is newly moving.

  • Patent number: 8306823
Abstract: A speech receiving unit receives a user ID, a speech obtained at a terminal, and an utterance duration, from the terminal. A proximity determining unit calculates a correlation value expressing a correlation between speeches received from plural terminals, compares the correlation value with a first threshold value, and determines that the plural terminals that receive the speeches whose correlation value is calculated are close to each other, when the correlation value is larger than the first threshold value. A dialog detecting unit determines whether a relationship between the utterance durations received from the plural terminals that are determined to be close to each other within an arbitrarily target period during which a dialog is to be detected fits a rule. When the relationship is determined to fit the rule, the dialog detecting unit detects dialog information containing the target period and the user ID.

  • Publication number: 20120151059
Abstract: A first relay server transmits, to an access management apparatus that manages an access right to a second relay server, an access request with respect to the second relay server. The access management apparatus confirms that the access right to the second relay server is set in the first relay server, and then requests the second relay server to permit an access by the first relay server. In a case where the second relay server permits the access from the first relay server, the access management apparatus notifies the first relay server of such access permission. Based on the notice from the access management apparatus, the first relay server establishes a routing session with the second relay server. By using the routing session, the first relay server starts the communication with a general server that serves as a maintenance target.
