  • Publication number: 20140146198
Abstract: Provided is an image processing device that acquires from an input image a high-quality image that is free from halos and features high contrast from a dark image portion to a light image portion of the image. The image processing device (10) includes an illumination light component calculating unit (12) that calculates from an input image an illumination light component from brightness of a target pixel and brightness of a peripheral pixel. The image processing device (10) thus performs a gradation conversion process in accordance with the illumination light component.

  • Publication number: 20140004257
Abstract: A main object of the present invention is to provide a practical slurry having a polar solvent as the dispersion medium for a sulfide solid electrolyte material. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problem by providing a slurry having: a sulfide solid electrolyte material, and a dispersion medium having at least one selected from the group consisting of tertiary amine; ether; thiol; ester having a functional group of a 3 or more carbon number bonded with a carbon atom of an ester bonding and a functional group of a 4 or more carbon number bonded with an oxygen atom of the ester bonding; and ester having a benzene ring bonded with a carbon atom of an ester bonding.

  • Publication number: 20130258139
Abstract: An imaging apparatus is provided that can obtain a high image quality combination image with a proper exposure while expanding a dynamic range. The imaging apparatus 1 includes multiple imaging systems 2, a parallax calculation unit 3 that calculates parallaxes of multiple images captured by the multiple imaging system 2, a determination unit 4 that determines a lightness-level relationship and a positional relationship of the photographic object in the multiple images, an exposure control unit 5 that can control the multiple imaging systems 2 to respective different exposures, based a result of the determination by the determination unit 4, and an image combination unit 6 that combines the multiple images based on the parallaxes calculated by the parallax calculation unit 3 and the exposures set by the exposure control unit 5.

  • Patent number: 8391563
Abstract: Images from the video camera of a computer are compared over time, e.g., every few milliseconds, to determine from the pixel data if motion of the computer matches template motion associated with an earthquake P-wave. If so, a warning is generated, uploaded to a communication network, and propagated over the network to other computers.

  • Publication number: 20110211097
Abstract: A multi-eye imaging device includes M imaging systems each having an optical system and an imaging element (M is a natural number greater than or equal to 2). The imaging systems include one reference imaging system and M?1 dependent imaging systems. An imaging surface of an imaging element of the reference imaging system and an imaging surface of an imaging element of the dependent imaging system are arranged in substantially the same plane. The imaging element of the reference imaging system and the imaging element of the dependent imaging system are arranged on a straight line that is substantially parallel with a pixel arrangement direction of the imaging element.

  • Publication number: 20110131799
Abstract: According to the method for manufacturing electrode sheets, in a first cutting step, an original sheet, including a belt-shaped metal foil and an electrode material coated thereon in a lengthwise direction to form a plurality of coated portions spaced at a predetermined gap, is cut at a location between the coated portions. In a pressing step, the original sheet strips having been cut in the first cutting step are pressed. In this case, the original sheet strips that are pressed by the rolling device are independent from each other. Therefore, the effect produced in rolling of the coated portions remains within each of the original sheet strips. In addition, distortions occurring in the original sheet strips can be prevented from affecting each other and the occurrence of wrinkles can be inhibited.

  • Publication number: 20040197652
Abstract: In a nonaqueous electrolyte rechargeable battery in which a positive electrode plate (1) and a negative electrode plate (2) are superimposed with a separator (3) interposed between them, and are accommodated in a battery case (4) together with electrolyte, corona discharge treatment is performed on the positive electrode material (1a) or the manufactured positive electrode plate (1). Improved affinity between the positive electrode material (1a) of the positive electrode plate (1) and the electrolyte shortens the pouring time of the electrolyte and enables the lithium ions (10) to easily reach the surface of the positive electrode material (1a), thereby improving the charging/discharging characteristic of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20040053134
Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising an anode (12) capable of reversible occlusion and release of lithium ions, and a cathode (13) also capable of reversible occlusion and release of lithium ions, the anode (12) containing as an active substance a complex oxide containing lithium. An anode active substance in a fully charged state has a maximum heating peak of at least 270° C. at differential scanning calorie measuring. The secondary battery can restricts thermal runaway even in an abnormal status and is high in safety. A production method for an active substance suitably used for the anode of the non-aqueous electrolyte is provided.
