  • Publication number: 20120186454
Abstract: An aeration apparatus that is immersed in diluted used seawater (not shown), which is water to be treated, and generates fine air bubbles in the diluted used seawater. This aeration apparatus includes: an air supply line L5 that supplies air 122 through blowers 121A to 121D (in an embodiment of the preset invention, four blowers) serving as discharge units; a pressure gauge 125 installed in the air supply line L5; and aeration nozzles 123 each including a diffuser membrane 11 having slits for supplying the air, so that when air supply pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold value based on a result of measurement by the pressure gauge 125, fresh water 141 or water vapor is temporarily supplied to an air supply pipe.

  • Publication number: 20120085239
Abstract: An aeration apparatus is immersed in water to be treated and generates fine air bubbles in the water to be treated. The aeration apparatus includes: an air supply pipe for supplying air through discharge unit; aeration nozzles 123 including an introduction portion for introducing air 122 supplied from an opening 15a of a header 15 in communication with the air supply pipe, and a support body extending from the introduction portion and covered with a diffuser membrane having slits for discharging the air 122 to the outside; water introducing unit for introducing water into the header through the air supply pipe; and an atomizing unit 25 for atomizing the introduced water 141 with the aid of the air 122 supplied from the opening 15a of the header. Water mist 141a atomized by the atomizing unit 25 passes through the slit and is discharged to the outside together with the air 122.

  • Publication number: 20120086136
Abstract: An aeration apparatus is immersed in diluted used seawater which is water to be treated and generates fine air bubbles in the diluted used seawater. The aeration apparatus includes: an air supply line L5 having branch pipes L5A to L5H for supplying air 122 through blowers 121A to 121D serving as discharge unit; aeration nozzles 123 including diffuser membranes 11 having slits, through which the air 122 is supplied to the aeration nozzles 123 via headers 15 of the branch pipes L5A to L5H; a water tank 140 and a supply pump P1 that are used as water introducing unit for supplying water 141 to the air supply line L5. When pressure loss of the aeration nozzles 123 increases, the aeration apparatus stops introduction of the air 122 and supplies the water 141 into the branch pipes L5A to L5H branched from the air supply line L5.

  • Publication number: 20120042784
Abstract: In an aeration apparatus according to the present invention, water-repellent treatment is applied at least to one of an opening and vicinity thereof of a slit 12 formed in a diffuser membrane of an aeration nozzle, thereby providing a water-repellent layer 150, so that the inflow of seawater into the slit 12 is prevented and precipitation of calcium sulfate or the like in the slit is suppressed and avoided. As a material for forming the water-repellent layer 150, for example, a talc coating layer using talc, a fluorine coating layer coated with a fluorine resin, silicone coating layer coated with a silicone resin, and a wax coating layer coated with wax can be mentioned.

  • Publication number: 20120043283
Abstract: A first slit 12A formed in a diffuser membrane of aeration diffusers of an aeration apparatus according to the present invention includes a linear reference slit 12a and a branched slit 12b crossing the linear reference slit 12a at a center thereof, and an opening shape of the first slit 12A is deformed due to pressure of air (an amount of air) to be supplied. Therefore, because an opening amount at a crossing 12c of the linear reference slit 12a and the branched slits 12b increases by temporarily increasing the amount of air, elimination of precipitates is facilitated, differently from conventional cases having only linear slits.

  • Patent number: 5820300
Abstract: A CO.sub.2 deep sea throw-away system includes a floating offshore base (2), receiving liquefied CO.sub.2 carried by a liquefied CO.sub.2 carrier (1). The base has a throwing pipe (3) and a throwing pipe outlet (4) to deliver the liquified CO.sub.2 in an enclosing bag (11) in the sea at a depth where a liquid phase state of the liquified CO is maintained. An unmanned submersible working boat (10) is provided and has a plurality of capsules (26) mounted thereon. Each capsule contains an enclosing bag (11) to enclose the liquified CO.sub.2. The boat transports the capsules into the sea at a depth where a liquid phase state of the liquified CO.sub.2 is maintained and operates to enclose the liquified CO.sub.2 in the enclosing bags (11). The liquified CO.sub.2 in the enclosing bag (11) and the capsule (26) are then released so as to fall onto the sea bottom. Also, a control base (9) is provided on the offshore sea to control the unmanned submersible working boat (10).

  • Patent number: 5755165
Abstract: An improvement of a coal firing device applied to coal gasifiers, boilers for power generation, etc. On the inner walls of a ceiling portion (4) of a firing furnace (3) and of a throat portion (2) thereabove, and of a diffuser portion (6) further thereabove, where necessary, plate-like vortex breaker(s) (1A, 1B) is/are provided. Vortex flow of gas in the vicinity of the inner wall surface around the throat portion (2) is thereby weakened and molten slag sticking on the wall surface is suppressed to be pushed up by the gas. There occurs neither staying of molten slag at the diffuser portion (6) nor scattering of slag, and blockade of furnace due to solid-phase slag does not occur.

  • Patent number: 5544491
Abstract: A liquefied carbonated gas abyssal casting apparatus prevents freezing at an outlet of a casting tube and flotation of cast carbonated gas. The liquefied carbonated gas is fed from a reservoir to a single casting tube and discharged to the abyss through an inner tube of a double casting tube from a lower end of the single casting tube. A heat medium fluid is recirculated between the inner tube and an outer tube of the double casting tube. The liquefied carbonated gas which flows through the inner tube is heated to an abyssal temperature of from -1.degree. to 5.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5331906
Abstract: In order to stably maintain a combustion capability in a combustion furnace for coal gassification, it is necessary to exhaust molten slag produced within the furnace without the slag stagnating. The present invention provides, in a combustion furnace for coal gassification, a slag exhausting device which is configured in such a manner that the cooling of molten slag being exhausted from the furnace is minimized to prevent the slag from solidifying and causing other slag to stagnate. The slag exhausting device is disposed at the center of a bottom wall of the combustor, and has a lower cylindrical portion and an upper bank opening upwardly and flared at an angle of 300.degree.-45.degree.. The height H from the bottom wall to the top of the upper bank, a height L and an inner diameter ds of the cylindrical lower portion and a diameter D of the combustor are set to satisfy the relations of ds/D=0.2-0.4, L/ds=0.2-0.6 and H/D=0.05-0.15.
