The assembled battery contains the battery cells, an insulating material covering the peripheral surface of the battery cells, and a heat dissipation member covering the peripheral surface of the battery cells which is covered with the insulating material. The insulating material has a plurality of holes piercing the insulating material from a surface thereof facing the battery cells to a surface thereof facing the heat dissipation member.
