  • Publication number: 20140137121
Abstract: In the prior art, the number of jobs that can be executed in parallel in a parallel computer is restricted by the types of licenses capable of being used or the number of licenses, and if there is insufficiency in licenses, a new job cannot be executed until already entered jobs in execution are completed. In order to solve the problems of the prior art, the present invention is designed to release a resource of a job having a low priority when license is insufficient when a job is entered, and the released resource is allocated to a job having a high priority so as to enable the job having a high priority to be executed, according to which the efficiency of use of resources is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20090136205
Abstract: A video recording apparatus wherein in the case where video recording programming information generated by an automatic video recording programming control unit is already present in a video recording programming information table, the video recording programming information is recorded in duplicated video recording information table. In the case where other video recording apparatuses connected via network cancelled the video recording programming information, which had been registered in the duplicated video recording information table, a video recording programming control unit stores the video recording programming information in a video recording programming table, and a video recording control unit executes video recording, based on the video recording programming information table.

  • Publication number: 20080240670
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to provide a reproduction resource even in an HDD recorder in which a plurality of storage processes is performed and no resource for providing the reproduction service exists. In order for realizing the above advantage, when the shortage of the reproduction resource occurs in a picture recording process, the picture recording process of the HDD recorder to which a content reproduction request is issued is switched to another HDD recorder, thereby providing the resource for content reproduction. Further, the content data stored in a dispersed manner by distributing the picture recording process is managed uniformly by recording the recording locations of the contents, which is divided and recorded, for every content data. Thus, it becomes possible to provide the content to the equipment issuing the reproduction request as a single content.
