  • Patent number: 11046864
Abstract: The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a polyester resin excellent in various properties wherein the film formability is good, film fracture (hairs) and scraping (galling) are not easily generated in the drawing/ironing process when applied to a metal-sheet-coating polyester film, the film surface is not damaged when used as the inner-surface film for a metallic can, and the metallic can is hardly corroded (dent resistance), by dropping or external impact (denting), after a product is made by enclosing contents into the can.

  • Patent number: 10662285
Abstract: The present invention provides a polyester resin composition excellent in transparency and flexibility, high in heat resistance, undergoes the bleeding-out of an oligomer at a reduced level, and can be formed into a formed or molded article or pellets that are rarely agglutinated. A polyester resin composition includes a polyester resin, made by a polymerization reaction of a dicarboxylic acid component containing (a) 75 to 98 mol% of an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, preferably having 5 to 30 carbon atoms, and (b) 2 to 25 mol% of a dimer acid, preferably having 36 or 44 carbon atoms, with (c) a diol component containing 75 mol% or more of an alicyclic diol. The proportion of the trans-form relative to the total amount of the trans-form and the cis-form of the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid unit contained in the polyester resin composition is desirably 80% or more.

  • Publication number: 20100087604
Abstract: A splittable conjugate fiber that even in the polishing of precision equipments, such as a hard disc, is free from injuring of polishing object parts and allows precision polishing. The splittable conjugate fiber is one composed of, containing substantially none of titanium dioxide, a polyester component and a polyamide component, characterized in that the cyclic trimer content of the polyester component is less than 1.0%. Preferably, this product is produced under conditions such that the difference between polyester-containing cyclic trimer after melt extrusion and cyclic trimer of polyester pellet as a raw material is less than 0.3%.

  • Publication number: 20090131628
Abstract: A normal-pressure cation-dyeable polyester is provided which contains an isophthalic acid component having a metal sulfonate group in a predetermined proportion based on the total of acid components present in the polyester, and contains a polyalkylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 150 to 600 in a predetermined proportion based on the polyester, wherein the proportion of diethylene glycol based on the total of glycol components and a terminal carboxyl group concentration are each set within a predetermined range. The polyester is stable in quality and excellent in dark- and pale-color light fastness when used for textile products.

  • Patent number: 6399195
Abstract: A core-sheath composite type polyester monofilament for use in a screen gauze in which the sheath ingredient is a polyester formed by adding and copolymerizing, based on the polyester, 2 to 10% by weight of a polyalkylene oxide with a coloration degree (APHA) after heating at 175° C. for one hour of 30 or less and having a number average molecular weight of from 300 to 4000 and having a peak temperature (Tmax) of a dynamic loss tan (tan &dgr;), at a measuring frequency of 110 Hz of from 97 to 120° C. which is lower by 10° C. or more than that for the core and the area ratio of core to sheath is within a range from 60:40 to 90:10. The polyester monofilament for use in a screen gauze is a monofilament for use in the high mesh screen gauze capable of completely preventing formation of scams during weaving, satisfactory in the gauze tension and excellent in the dimensional stability of gauze and in the adhesion to the photosensitive resin.
