  • Publication number: 20040004777
Abstract: A semi-transmitting reflection film having good visibility with both transmitting light and reflecting light is produced by using a semi-transmitting reflection film having a semi-transmitting reflection layer containing a pearlescent pigment and formed on at least one surface of a plastic film provided that the pearlescent pigment in the semi-transmitting reflection layer is oriented at an orientation angle of 15 degrees or smaller relative to the plane of the plastic film, the average particle diameter of the pearlescent pigment in the semi-transmitting reflection layer is from 3 to 60 &mgr;m and the ratio of the average particle diameter (D) of the pearlescent pigment in the semi-transmitting reflection layer to the thickness (T) of the semi-transmitting reflection layer (D/T) is from 1.3 to 30.
